Who's the real monsters
Slowly making my way down the vents I paid attention to every sound that was made. Hannah's conversation kept replaying in my head. She has a mother who's still alive and is most likely close by. Thinking I could use this to my advantage and if she tries to get me sent to either The Thing from the Pit or Nurse Ratchet I'll come down on her hard. That would explain why everyone has been sucking up to her.

Who's the real monster?
The stinging in my eyes began to wake me from a dreamless sleep. My stomach sank as the realization that my sunglasses were gone. Trying to lift an arm to cover my face let alone move my body proved to be in vain. Aside from stiff muscles that ached with every breath I took something like hard plastic was wrapped around my wrists and ankles. I couldn't move an inch. "Fucking prefect", I groaned.

Who's the real monster?. Content Warning.
It's been the same nightmare for over 10 years now. Reliving the night I lost every thing that ever mattered to me. When I jumped off the roof of the hospital I thought it would lead to my death instead of entering the shadows of the world.

Who's the real monster?
It started off as a normal Friday the 13th. Me and my folks were doing a marathon for the day's name sake just for fun. When the opening for the first movie began my mom touched her very pregnant belly before saying, "Something is wrong." Dad heard the fear in her voice then ran to grab the keys for the pickup. I froze in place just looking at her. Never in my life had I seen mom look so scared. Hearing dad yell over his shoulder, "Get the bag!" On instinct I grabbed the go bag my mom had been filling with stuff all day. From what I knew it was called nesting. It's what expecting mothers do when the baby is about to be born.

Vengeance. Content Warning.
Slowly letting that word sink in 'barren'. I didn't feel a thing. The whole world didn't exist and neither did I. Nightmare took hold of my shoulders to give a light shake, trying to get a reaction out of me. With no response he dug his fingers in while saying, "Z talk to me." They lowered themselves to my eye level to plead, "Please talk to me Z." Closing my eyes to take in a shallow breathe I placed my hands on top of theirs. Nightmare's grip tensed as I slowly opened my eyes. They flinched back as he looked deeply into my eyes, I heard him thing nothing. Looking through Nightmare to see Ripley I stood in front of her within a second.

Stolen. Content Warning.
With the blink of the eye I was standing next to Nightmare. We were in a big room that was dimly lit with a long hallway. As my eyes landed on the human sized test tubes I let out a small gasp, realizing the people who were in the tubes were us. Carefully looking at each of them I saw that they were all perfect replicas of us. Seeing only 13 I looked to Nightmare who was standing in front of someone that looked like my human self. Thinking angrily Oh That's it! Nightmare saw and felt my rage in waves he told me softly We need to tell the others.

Monsters or Hybrids?
"Still no sign of Director Anderson or Colonel Armstrong waking up. They have been in a coma since the ship docked six months ago. These two seem to be the only ones in PVS (permanent vegetative state) while any time the mercenaries and/or scientists talk about the island just go into a deep sleep. With the exception of Edgar who is currently suffering from sleep paralysis. There's still no medical reason why any of them are suffering this way. Will continue to monitor and run tests until we find out what's wrong", Dr. Irons' said into his tape recorder.

Sleeping peacefully for the first time in over a decade ended too soon with the sound of Nightmare's voice Z, Z, Z wake up! Yelling Ah! What?! What? They replied The sun is already up and unless you want everyone to see me get your ass up Nightmare replied. Groaning all the while as we shifted between our forms I told them Wake me up like that again and I'll find a way to hurt only you, shithead.

The Exchange
Slowly making our way to the beach our eyes caught sight of two people talking. Getting closer to see that it was Hannah and Nurse Ratchet we stayed hidden to hear Nurse Ratchet say, "You heard that freak Z, the main building is off limits. I am not going to risking my life or freedom for anyone, especially not you." Hannah said, "I'm running out of my meds." Surprised to hear that I kept myself hidden to hear Hannah also say, "HRT and hormone therapy". Both Nightmare and I thought Hannah is trans? Carefully making a small noise we walked out of the trees. Hannah and Nurse Ratchet looked at us worried.
