Who's the real Monster?
~ Armstrong's POV Already out of bed before my alarm clock could beep. It's 5:59 AM. Grunting as I start my morning warmup for the day. My body ain't what it used to be. Everything aches more than usual, doesn't help that I didn't get enough sleep last night. Getting dressed after a quick shower. Right as I was done lacing up my shoes an alarm blasted: ALERT! ALERT! INMATES RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN RELEASED! ALERT!

Who's the real Monster?
~ Smith's POV Holy fucking shit! It's Inmate Zero. How did she get in here? Last I saw on the monitors she was still in her room meditating. I've read her file at least twice. Nothing in it said anything about whatever the fuck is going on right now. It feels like there's a rope taking hold of my entire body like a snake constricting. I can't move an inch.

Who's the real Monster?
~ Mat's POV That was odd. Haven't ever seen Ed act or look that way since I've known him. He and I had gotten here around the same time. It was nice to know that I wasn't the only one in the Yellow Area. Everyone in the Green area treats you like lepers once they know you don't belong in their group.

Who's the real Monster
~ Anderson's POV I should be awarded an Oscar for acting surprised with Armstrong's declaration. Having done my research with a fine tooth comb on everybody here. I saw Armstrong's father and my adoptive one had a couple of things in common. They both served in the Vietnam and were in the same platoon.

Who's the real Monster?
Ignoring my instincts entirely I went down to the sub-basement. All the while repeating my granddad's saying, "Every enemy has a weakness." Creeping out of the vents it was easy to stay hidden here. The hall was barely lit. Up ahead it split into two corridors. Moving to the right there was a window at waist height that almost reached the ceiling. Carefully taking a peek I saw a ring of lights keeping something big inside of it. Whatever was inside looked to be an animal made of shadows that didn't have a true shape that appeared to be resting. My blood ran cold once the realization hit me. No fucking way. That's It, that's the Thing that attacked me. Unable to look away I watched as It rose from the floor to look right at me. Those red piercing eyes. Just like mine now.

Who's the real Monsters?
Eric's POV The day started off normal, had breakfast and kept it down, then listened in on Ed and Shelly. Would've listened in on both of them a bit more if a sudden feeling of dread didn't seep into my bones. It was the same feeling I had when Z was taken to Nurse Ratchet. That Thing is flexing it's power.

Who's the real Monsters?
Feeling myself being pulled out of my body I was brought back into that dark foggy place again. Carefully listening I stayed quiet while the feeling of being watched like a bug under a telescope filled me with anxiety. Steadying my voice I said with my chest, "Show yourself." Red eyes looked down on me in a the span of a millisecond. It's body appeared to be made entirely of shadows and darkness. My heart hammered against my ribs as I froze under It's gaze.

Who's the real Monsters?
Making my way to Aunt Patty's office I saw that she was burning the midnight oil. Moving through the shadows in complete stealth. I reached into the filing cabinets again, this time looking into the people who were in the solitary area. Eric's name came up first. Looks like it's not just his brother who's been detained here, his girlfriend as well.

Who's the real Monster. Content Warning.
Waking up I turned my head to see that neither Ed nor Matt were here. The door was already closed, it must be passed lights out. Slowly sitting up every muscle in my body protested against the action. All of me hurt. Noticing that both my clothes and bandages were covered in blood. Those two must've cleaned and covered my wounds while I was knocked out.

Who's the real Monsters?
Back in the vents I made a straight shot for Aunt Patty's office. She'd have a contingency plan for everyone here, including the Colonel himself. Sifting through the files I saw two with the name of Armstrong. Checking on Henry Armstrong III first to see if I can use him against the Colonel.

Who's the real Monster?
Those words left me frozen in place. My mind raced with thoughts of denial; There's no way in Hell I heard that. If I have then I've finally lost it. Better get out now. The same voice spoke again to prevent me from leaving Follow me into the bathroom. Everything in me said run, yet I couldn't move.
