I can't believe it has been one year since I joined Vocalโit's crazy!! It only feels like I've been writing on this platform for three or four months! I'm so grateful for all the support the Vocal community has given, and I want to say a big thank you for being very kind, trusting, and open to my art/stories. There was a previous writing platform I joined called "Scribophile" which I didn't realise critique was normalised in this space, but sometimes I felt judged through my work as if it wasn't good enough or too "weird". I remember someone once saying "This deserves to be in the trash, your "imagination" doesn't equalise". I remember responding with "First off that phrase doesn't even make sense, and neither does your mind if you can't comprehend creativity, take yourself out to the trash." I left after that ๐
AND JOINED VOCAL!! Since joining I have met some of the most lovely and purest souls on here. I appreciate the Vocal community for valuing and taking the time to read and understand my art of writing. I truly am very appreciative of the support. I'm so grateful for being a part of this community and want to shout out some incredible people who have deeply supported me!
