Joshua's longest day
Nobody ever really starts off to be their own worst enemy .....or even a hero of their own making....but such is the case for myself. Growing up in a middle class family of the 80's to early 90's you have someone of the generation x millennial cusp. Watching the digital revolution unfold before them and riding the wave of analog on out. It was thought to be a normal childhood for the sensitive and excited young child of this generation....and for the most part....it was....but maybe I wasn't.

What If
Robert loved starting his day fishing with her. She'd wake him up every weekend the same way. "Are you ready daddy?" with big bright eyes. He'd smile and scratch his head and would say "Of course angel". After hurriedly getting dressed they would rush down their Nashville street to their favorite fishing hole. You'd wonder which was the adult and which was the kid form the excitement that was displayed. Never was about the fish really, as it was mostly about the conversations. Conversations about colors... plants...and all sorts of what ifs. What ifs that can only come form a five year old child.

Stained Glass Window
I often wondered about that stained glass window. How old was it? Who crafted it? Why on a library? I grew up walking past it everyday on the way to school. I've always admired it but the significant thing to me was the image. It was a buffalo. Why would anyone in their right mind want a buffalo on a stained glass window?

It will come
"Don't jump!! Don't jump!!" they yelled as I looked down below. I thought give me one reason to stay here. As I felt my body getting ready to make the leap. I herd something different.... something I've never herd before. Sounded like a trumpet of some sort.
