"Don't jump!! Don't jump!!" they yelled as I looked down below. I thought give me one reason to stay here. As I felt my body getting ready to make the leap. I herd something different.... something I've never herd before. Sounded like a trumpet of some sort.

As it seemed the feeling my body was feeling was falling, I realized there was no wind. Quite odd I thought, so I decided to open my eyes. That's when I saw it....an amazing city that somehow I knew had no name. I realized it was floating and that was the sensation I had been feeling....cause I was floating too!

Then in a flash I was sitting right next to a man who I knew had no name. Don't ask me how.....I just knew. "David....what has been bothering you so?" "There's so much....I don't know where to start." "Anywhere would be a great place too." said this calming man.

"I guess when my wife left me would be a good one. She felt that I was crazy and took our three sons with her." "Interesting....go on." the man said. "Wasn't long after that I lost my job of twenty years, I had to keep calling in sir....ya can't sell a car while crying." "Totally agree....is there anymore?" "Not two weeks later I was evicted from my apartment. Only having a small car I packed it with what I could of what was left after my wife left."

"I do kinda feel like there's a little bit more to this story...if you'd like to continue David." said the man. "Well...after a while of small petty jobs I started drinking again....I hadn't done it in years....not since my first son was born. One night I was flying down this curvy road about fifty miles per hour and came to a sudden stop...thanks to a big oak tree. I took every bit of identifying info and ran....plus the bottle."

"After that happened....the last eight weeks have been hell! I've completely alienated every single person I knew....including myself. I finally decided to end it all and found a way to the top of the tallest building in this town. It's the only thing I could think of to make this pain go away....cause the bottle ain't working anymore. Am I dead?" I asked. "No David....thankfully not." "Then what's going on here....am I dreaming?" "No David...your not. Think of this as a behind the scenes reel." he said with a smile.

"You see David sometimes very special people have to go through things that are very hurtful. It's never been that your not loved....quite the opposite. Some people who are destined for great things sometimes have to be striped of what they know in order to grow. Just like the seed strips it's casing to become the flower. David....I can tell you this right now....you have something this world desperately needs....it's a gift you will learn of that you never knew you had. And that gift is gonna teach the world to love again. I can't tell you what or when but I can tell you....it will come."

Being me I was just about to insist he tell me....and that's when I realized I was still holding the door knob of the roof door. I thought to myself WOW! The tears welled up in my eyes as I fell to my knees and prayed for the first time in ages. The warm feeling that hit me afterwards could only be compared to that of a frozen pond who has finally felt the kiss of the sun after many, many years. And as I closed the door behind me and walked slowly down the stairs....I knew... that mans name....I knew.... that city's name....and later on down my path....so shall we all.
