Writing since she was six years old, but became the writer she is today in sixth grade. She has three published books and appears in various publications. When she is not writing, she is an avid photographer, scrapbooker, and artist.

Redefining Success
I've been feeling depressed and anxious lately. On Friday before Shabbat, I wanted to share with a trusted few on Facebook a bit about why I'm feeling so down lately and yes, the time of year it is and the 11 year anniversary of my rapeis getting closer. I tend to reflect hardcore at this time of year.

Opening Happiness Box 2023
New Year's Eve 2023 was different than usual, and different in a good way. Since New Year's Eve was a Sunday, David was off from work and we got to spend time together. David had to work on New Year's Eve 2022; this was going to be our first New Year's Eve Together.

6 November 2013. Content Warning.
7 November was the 10th anniversary of my rape. Yet, there’s another part of this story I didn’t share because it was all a perfect storm. Since Monday, 6 November 2023 was 10 years since S sent me the letter, which I thought was a love letter of sorts in 2013, I thought I would share this story. I never shared it before and it may help with healing.

Halloween 2023
Halloween 2023 was so much fun, even after a lackluster October. Since David and I were planning for the Ren Faire and for our cosplays, most of my October focus went to our anniversary. It wasn't a bad thing, but I made sure to use the final days of October to focus on Halloween fun.

2023 Happiness Box Project
I have written a little bit about my Happiness Box Project already. This idea started in the summer of 2015, but started as, "Oh, let me try a Happiness jar in 2016!" I tried it, but failed: the jar didn't hold much. In December 2016, after receiving a sweater for the holidays, I had a novel idea. Since the sweater came in a big box, I could try a Happiness Box for 2017!
