Young Love

Ah, cherry blossoms capture the hope and love

By Jessica MariePublished 2 years ago 1 min read

The Valley Forge Chapel

reflects our hopes, dreams, joy,

hand in hand, we walk

along the smooth path

covered with cherry blossoms

camera ready—

pink lines the gray sky,

we coo and run underneath

cherry flowers

cover our clothes,

he then sneaks in for a kiss;

love under the tree.

It's been a long winter,

not of coldness and snow,

although long doesn't equal bad;

we've been learning with each other,

celebrating different holidays,

birthdays, planning for our life together.

We're hand in hand near this chapel,

maybe this will be where we marry?

Let’s take our pictures,

cherry trees soak in our love

nothing but smiles

and sweet “I love you”

hand in hand, we walk the grove,

young love in the spring.
