The History of The World Trade Center 1962-2001 It begins in 1962 with the Port Authority Trans-Hudson Corporation (PATH) purchasing H&M Railroad in a deal that allows the construction of the World Trade Center on the West side of Lower Manhattan. Engineers begin designing the plans for the World Trade Center. In 1963 the Port Authority unveiled the concept design.

Cannabis Hyperemesis Syndrome. Content Warning.
The legalization of cannabis (weed) has been a good step forward but has brought on a really strange medical issue. Weed is a Schedule 1 drug which means that it has no currently accepted medical use and has a high potential for abuse. For drug Schedule information click here HERE. Weed being a Schedule 1 drug makes testing not a very high priority, so before the legalization of weed, not many tests were done to see the possible medical issues that may arise. With more and more states legalizing weed and the potency of weed rising something has begun to happen to some weed smokers. A diagnosis known as Cannabis Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS) that causes cyclic vomiting which is only relieved by hot showers or intravenous sedation.

The Trees . Top Story - March 2024. Content Warning.
I got a new job in the Great Smoky Mountains along the Appalachian mountain range as a search and rescue officer. I was on a call for a little girl who ran off the trail and got lost when this whole mess started. My partner and I grabbed our gear and radios before heading out. This call should have been easy, most kids stay put and cry until found, but this time it was different. We set off on the Kephart Prong Trail in high hopes.

The Not So Ugly Duckling
Back when trees could walk and stones could talk, there was a huge family of ducks. The ducklings were dark spotty yellow feathered, with dark gray beaks. The adult ducks were a pee-stained yellowish-white color with feathers that looked like you'd plucked them, and light gray beaks.
