Pressure!
Pressure! I've yet to meet one person who walks this earth and is immune to pressure. Despite my laidback approach to life, pressure all too often rears its hideous head and slams me. Billy Joelās 1982 New Wave Experimental Pop song "Pressure" snuck up on me and hit me over the head, much the same way pressure is prone to do!

Happy as Larry! ... Angie's Antics
Larry sure took us by surprise! Something went seriously wrong with our tried and tested Cyclone Alert System! Dad ā our Weatherman ā dropped the ball! It was his job to ring us up and alert us of the next tropical cyclone heading our way in Far North Queensland. We rarely bothered watching television and neglected tuning in to the News on the radio. Internet was slow, expensive and patchy at best. We lived our lives under a rock ā as far as current affairs were concerned. Delightful daysā¦except when a cyclone loomed without adequate warning or preparation time.

Safe⦠secure⦠serene
Monday: 11:58 pm⦠Wonderfully weightless ā I find myself wafting on the airwaves ā slowly sinking lower ā ever closer to the ground. Iām a feather, floating freely ā to and fro ā until Iām almost brushing the treetops. A few gentle sculling strokes of my arms, effortlessly propel me swiftly skywards. In moments, my supine body is once again above the slumbering world below⦠a balmy breeze caresses my upturned face. The dazzling diamonds of The Southern Cross constellation reassuringly smile down at me.
