Ice cold

meets molten anger

Ice cold

Outstretched hand meets an ice cold shoulder

Hesitant greeting dies on lips

Funereal silence clings

Molten anger ignites

Good intentions die

Can they ever…

become friends?

How I

wish!

This sent a chill through me Angie... very cleverly chosen words and way of laying them on the page!! The line that sticks with me most is "funeral silence clings"... great work!

I love that this was written in the third person, Angie. Yet another new approach to the break up Nonet.
