Can you to do something for me Ruthie?
Sure, anything… what do you need?
Can you to get me a lawyer… quickly?
Why? What’s happened? Look out, if someone’s dared hurt you!
Settle down! I’m not hurt, yet…
Well, what do you need a lawyer for? Don’t fret…
I’ve been arrested for murder
What! That’s absurd! You wouldn’t hurt a fly!
Well actually, I did… and much worse than a fly!
There must be some mistake… you’re so wonderful… it makes no sense
So you say — but, like anyone — I have my moments…
Okay, I’ll admit… maybe once or twice, you’ve been less than perfect!
Do you want to hear my story or not?
If you insist…
Yes… I really must persist!
I have noticed you haven’t been yourself lately
You know how Benny’s been pestering me greatly?
WHAT!!! That creep! What did he do?
He just wouldn’t leave me alone… he came around home
So you killed him? Good! He was asking for it!
I shoved him away — he fell backwards. Hit his head…
I still say he had it coming…
He was gone in the blink of my eye
Don’t worry — we can sort this — I’m coming over, I’ll get rid of his body
Too late! I called 000… he couldn’t be saved
Well, that was obvious from the moment you first laid eyes on him!
I’m at the Police Station — just find me a good lawyer
Don’t worry… you’ll be alright… as you always are
I feel so bad… how could I kill him?
You’ve done nothing wrong — you’ll get off
We’ll see… my chances look slim

Despite the unsettling revelation, there is still a hint of support and willingness to listen, the dialogue leaves us curious to hear the accused character's story, adding suspense and engaging the reader's interest, thank you very much for sharing, love your works, hope to read more, subscribed.
