Ginger's Golden Thread
There once was a girl named Ginger in tower, overlooking a beautiful valley of luscious gardens and sparkling streams. Ginger was a weaver of richly colored tapestries and people came from everywhere to acquire her spectacular works of art. She loved to weave the colors into storytelling pictures. Her favorite, which hung over her fireplace, displayed a lamb sleeping in a meadow, as a shepherd kept watch.

Enough About Branding; Let’s Talk Anti-Branding
You are sitting in a pastry shop at, say, 9 Rue Ravignan, Paris. You order a baguette & a croissant, then sit down peacefully, staring out the window, admiring the romantic couple holding hands. You dip your croissant into the piping hot chocolate & dive into it. Jane Austen’s Emma lies open on the table, with a bookmark at exactly page 57, which you plan to read later on. The cute cuddling sounds of a baby girl fill the shop. The waitress is polite, with a big smile on her face, and doesn’t bother you to try the most expensive thing on the menu.

A truth
If you have a truth it could never be taken away from you no matter how quiet it sounds when you say it out loud, it could never be taken away from you no matter if people try and squash it down or dilute the tears it’s cried out, it will remain and be fulfilled, it can never be taken away from you.

Paid Subscriptions - My Perks
I won't lie. When I first saw the new "exclusive stories" or the new "paid subscribers" update, my first thought was, 'Who would pay for MY exclusive stories?'. I began panicking... wondering what on earth would I ever use that for. How would I ever use that feature? But... this new feature could, maybe, just maybe, help me guide my way towards my own passions.

Another year around the sun
Another year around the sun. Today is my 32nd birthday. I can’t believe it. And the thing I have learnt the most this year is patience. Patience to know that things will get better, that I will find myself again, that I will be thriving once again. And now I am, thriving. Not simply surviving. Not caught up in the chaos of my mind and the pain of my body. I have cleared a lot of darkness out of my system and what remains is pure joy and love. It’s a wonderful feeling. Blossoming and blooming like a flower.

Incorporate Imagination Into Your Writing
I grew up in the 1980s, and as a kid, I mostly had simple toys that required imagination. Sure, my Kenner® brand Star Wars toys had lights and sounds, but it was up to me to position the figures and fly my Tie Fighter, X-Wing Fighter, and Millenium Falcon in my own imaginary battles.

UNRELIABLE
I recollect it plainly, the day I tracked down the letter. It was a fresh fall morning, the sort where the air feels electric with probability. I was scavenging through the storage room, searching for an old photograph collection, when I coincidentally found a dusty, yellowed envelope. My name was scribbled on it in a natural hand, one I hadn't found in years.
