Life After You
I found peace like a river. I gave myself time to forget all the pain. I tried new ways to bring a smile to my face ‘til I couldn't remember your name. Life after you: I saw love all around me and looked into the eyes of a brand new me. I kept my heart open and the love that was stolen returned in full measure, a recovered treasure I will never lose. I love my life after you. It's lights, colored deeper, harmonies, sweeter. Love came and found me. Happiness blossomed around me. It burst like a fountain high as a mountain. This is my life after you.

Ten Times a Day
Ten times a day, I say I'm through wanting you. Then I think of you standing next to me, and the fantasy starts with your lips close to mine. Somehow, I'm floating away into the scent and the taste of your rhythm and rhyme. It may be a daydream, but it feels like you're mine. If ever we touched in the here and now, I'd have to be crazy to let you go. I’d lift you so high, we'll never come down.

Fences
Fences, boundaries, blocking, broken view. Fragmented abstracts, me and you, resting hinges, droop and swing, opening squeaky wire string. Cracked and peeled painted doors, dingy green, splintered boards, pen tup gardens locked in tight, prism maze of fractured light. Don't fence me out, don't fence me in. Joining brand new love begins. Fences, doors, windows, gates reach across communicate.

Victoria’s Good Taste
There once lived a lady named Victoria who lived in a little town near the marketplace. It was always filled with glorious aromas of baked goods and multicultural cuisine. She was known as the best taste tester for miles around and was asked every month to judge the baking contest.
