There once was a girl named Ginger in tower, overlooking a beautiful valley of luscious gardens and sparkling streams. Ginger was a weaver of richly colored tapestries and people came from everywhere to acquire her spectacular works of art. She loved to weave the colors into storytelling pictures. Her favorite, which hung over her fireplace, displayed a lamb sleeping in a meadow, as a shepherd kept watch.
One day she thought of a picture she wanted to weave. She imagined a golden wishing well with children all around it but she had no golden thread. She gazed out her window across the plush valley. Where could she find golden thread? She ventured out to the nearest stream and knelt to feel the cool rippling water. When she rose to her feet she noticed her hand was sparkling with golden specks. She wandered to the nearest rose garden and reached to caress some yellow rosebuds. After smelling their sweet perfume, she was startled by golden dust shimmering in the sunlight.

May I edit this piece to add - She sought to rest by a willow tree before continuing on her quest. As she folded her legs leaning back against the tree she was showered by dewy droplets as a carpet of gold dust surrounded her. Suddenly she knew her question had been answered. She gathered the powder in her skirt and hurried home to begin her new tapestry. She worked all night and right through the next three days until it was completed When the townspeople came to view her new piece, they marveled at the golden wishing well and asked where she had found such precious threads. She told them that it was hidden in their own familiar valley. And they could not believe their fortune. From that day on everyone searched for their fortune in their own backyard. Their businesses thrived and they all lived happily ever after.
