This is just a reminder piece for everyone looking for ideas to help them when creating new stories.
An Unofficial Challenge Community Would Be Nice
One of the problems with Unofficial Challenges is that if you don't subscribe to the creator, or if it doesn't get a Vocal Top Story, then we will miss it.

In order to help creators find Unofficial Challenges, and some of the prizes on offer are quite substantial in my opinion, I have created an unofficial challenges story which you can check out here, and maybe join in with a challenge that takes your fancy:
I will keep doing these each month until we get a Vocal Unofficial Challenge Community. I am quite surprised that despite this not being a Vocal Top Story it has hit well over a hundred reads, so people must be picking up on it somewhere.
The idea for this started as a thread in the Vocal Social Society, this is one of the older ones, but obviously, not all Vocal Creators would be aware of this.
If there are no Challenges that pique you there are always the Vocal Prompts, which I use quite often and can be found here:
Conclusion
I know I may be repeating myself, but people are unlikely to go back looking for information on old Vocal stories, so this is just a reminder of what is available in the form of prompts and challenges.

Hey Mike, you continue to excel in supporting and promoting the community. Thank you for all your efforts. I looked at your list for February's unofficial challenges, and I didn't do too badly. I entered four of them. It is hard to track them, and I am sure a lot goes unnoticed. The idea (it was probably you who pointed it out to me) of putting the link to the challenge at the bottom of an entry is a great way to get the word out. It should be compulsory for a valid entry. For example, I would never have known about the Limerick one until someone gave me the original challenge link. I thought something was up because there was suddenly a lot of limericks.
Stealin' away with Steely Dan. Do we need to look any further for prompts & inspiration. Yes, of course. Thanks for this, Mike.
