Putin Appoints New General.
The campaign in Ukraine has not gone according to plan. Destroyed Russian equipment litters the landscape. However, Ukrainian forces have paid a high price for their stoic defence. The available evidence suggests Russian President Vladimir Putin isn't serious about peace talks. Continued shelling clearly suggests the Russian president has no real interest in a peaceful resolution. Does anyone seriously believe Putin?
