With Friends Like These You’d Crib Out in Court Too
Is Will Smith up for a new role? Men in Red Ties? What a spectacle, eh? Big Orange in court for a crime that got his fixer 3 years. His fixer was convicted for the same damned thing Big is in court for. Big and the fixer were in it together. There’s a little bit of a backstory here. Seems Big Orange is such a sensitive human being that he needs a mental health specialist, like his niece. I think she must have written a prescription for Big. If it wasn’t her, it must have been someone else close to him, like his mommy. I can’t pinpoint exactly who, but someone must have prescribed sleep therapy to counteract tense events in his life, like being nearly 80. I think the prescription must say something like–if an event is overly intense the best way to keep the heart from exploding from pride or something is to just zone out. Sleep is good for the inventive mind. Tesla, Franklin, Bell, Ford, Einstein and now Big Orange all endorse naps as a rejuvenating and creative activity which costs very little. Well, usually, I don’t know how much it costs to crib out in court.

Idolatry in U.S. Politics
I'm going to put this out there: Is a person who was shot at and missed a hero? From what I have always known a hero is someone who is courageous and/or possesses noble qualities. Such as a person who saves another person's life. A person that will go to any length to help the less fortunate so that they may have a better quality of life. The hero is someone who goes into action to save someone or help someone. Simply dodging a bullet is not a heroic action.

Unrighteous rules keeping the beach from the public
Last night I was restless and had some extra energy. I also had some gas in my now running car so I decided to go to the beach. It was after 9 p.m. but I figured it's summertime and it would be nice to walk on the sand under the moonlight. I had enough money for public parking if there was to be a fee for evening parking. To my discontented surprise, when I got there to Clearwater Beach, the public parking area was closed off and the whole beach area looked like a ghost town. I drove down the boulevard that follows the beach passing hotel after hotel and the quietness and stillness was eery, almost creepy and spooky. Where was everyone in the middle of July?

Priti Patel: Will Run to Replace Sunak.. Content Warning.
On a show with puppets 'Spitting Image' Priti Patel has been portrayed as a Vampiress, The Queen of Darkness, complete with fangs. Ms. Patel has been and remains a controversial figure but to her followers, she is one of the pin-ups of the right. As Home Secretary, she wanted to send migrants to Ascension Island. However, that never happened, there were other ideas too but they never saw the light of day. Patel seems to be a woman of words, but no action.

Silly Socialites and the Contrarians Small Town Tour 2024
I don’t know that I’ve mentioned this, but I grew up in a small town. Small towns are “interesting,” and that would be something good you could say about small town life. There isn’t much to do in a small town because no one can afford to keep an entertainment center open for the dozen or so kids that might live there. Potlucks at the fire hall or the lodge can be the most exciting thing to take place for weeks at a time. Churches become community gathering places for this or that level or pecking order within the town itself. The most overriding aspect of small town life is that everyone knows your business. And there is always a cantankerous person or two who have some cantankerous friends who collectively are known as Contrarians. They perennially oppose The Silly Social Club who are the progressives in town. You know the ones. They’re the ones who want street lights, stop signs, and paved roads.

Trump's First Assassination Attempt. Content Warning.
Before 20-year-old Thomas Crooks attempted to kill former President Trump, there was Michael Steven Sandford, a British man who was the same age as Crooks tried to assassinate Donald Trump before he became the President-Elect in 2016. He didn't shoot Trump or anyone else. This is how it all unfolded.

Starmer Condemns Trump Attack.. Content Warning.
Sir Keir Starmer having come back from the US Himself recently, condemned the failed assassination of Donald Trump. Donald Trump was making a speech when a bullet hit him in the ear. However, the wound was not fatal and appeared to be a flesh wound. Trump dived down and His security team hurried him away. Trump formed a fist of defiance even with blood streaming from his ear. Trump's campaign for now is on hold. The former president was taken to hospital but was released none the worse for the attack. The gunman 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks was instantly killed by security men. The would-be assassin was firing from a roof outside the area that Trump was speaking from. Many have questioned why this roof was not checked for security risks. US authorities are conducting an internal investigation. No one knows right now if the gunman was acting alone. The gunman was using His father's legal weapon. Not wishing to make light of this, however, Thomas Matthew Crooks was thrown out of His school shooting team for being a bad shot! The issue of gun ownership may come up again, however, no American politician will touch it with a barge poll. Although many Americans realize gun ownership is a controversial issue, many Americans, believe in the right to bear arms enshrined in the constitution. They will say there are responsible gun owners and non-responsible gun owners. The pro-gun lobby and the anti-pro-gun lobby will debate this for years to come.

The Orange Bullyboy Plays President for Ratings
There are several items in the news which just will not move along through my brain. Every time I send them on their way, they come back around. I’m beginning to suspect that they’re all related but it is puzzling to me how that could possibly be. If it weren’t for these stories echoing in my “Take a Look at This - NOW” news feed, I’d have sworn that coincidences sent from somewhere in the Matrix is as good a theory for strange happenings as butterfly wings flapping in the Yellow River basin. But there it was, a couple of back-to-back strange happenings and I, obviously, just had to add up the column of unrelated crazy sounding shit to come up with a question. One, I’m either afraid to answer or I’m afraid I know, and just don’t want to look at something that dreary.
