I laugh when I see the few lighter skin Black Americans proclaiming how wonderful Ghana is to them. I also noticed that in almost every video of Black Americans in Ghana that ligher skin Black people are often missing. I mean surely we exist, in the United States I can't help but see the various shades everywhere I go.

I was called something very nasty by a Ghanaian, I was called a, "Typical, Angry, Black American Woman!" The Ghanaian that called me this is a friend and like a self loathing lunatic I still call him a friend to this day. Am I blinded by his fame, or what? I don't know but these words bothered me, I was not angry, mad, or upset when he called me this.
