corruption
A prime locale to talk bribery, suspect campaign funding, and all other instances of political corruption. The shadier, the better.
It Takes But A Second. Runner-Up in The Moment That Changed Everything Challenge.
I was spending a quiet Saturday morning lounging on my bed, nurturing an injury and letting the week of busyness fall from my shoulders. Mindlessly scrolling Facebook, while deciding what my day should look like.

With a Whimper. Content Warning.
Author's Note: I am not a political scientist, the below statements are my opinion only. I have been relatively quiet for the last few years. Things in my personal life have been turbulent, but I am now at a place where silence is no longer an option. Before the election, I knew it was a lost cause. With the systemic defunding of education, the American public lacks the critical thinking skills to act in their best interest. If misogyny lost the first election for Clinton, then racism and misogyny lost this one for Harris. When this same thing happened in 2016, I wrote a lot. I wrote about what this meant for the country, and what kind of portent this painted for our future. I got called a lot of things, but most prominently I was called a fear-monger, an extremist, and a feminist killjoy. Looking back at those articles, I was correct about nearly everything I said. I said, that with his winning, we would see the decline of respected science, leading to a largely preventable epidemic. I said that we would see non-white children in cages, separated from their families. I said that we would see a rise in gun violence in public places. I said we would see an attempted coup to retain power. I said a lot of other things, but I think those are the big points. In 2016, at the start of it all, no one ever thought any of those things would happen. And yet here we are.

The Council's Coin
The Council chamber fell silent as the Coin spun through the air, catching the light as it left Councilman Jarek’s fingers. All eyes—representatives, advisors, and press—followed its arc. The moment had arrived. The toss would decide whether to open Valoria’s northern territories for settlement or preserve them as protected land.

"WE ARE ONE HUMAN BEING SPECIES". Content Warning.
MICROSOFT DESIGNER APP This is not all about me. I author these stories about abuse or other genres to help others see the dilemma of being involved with people. This story and many other stories are authored by me to inform people about these psychological issues of relationships. There are times I use "I" because the story was written from a first-person perspective. "I" does not always mean that it's about me. I am 75 years old. I authored articles that were found that I wrote at 16 and 17. So, IT IS NOT ALL ABOUT ME! FYI! Enjoy all! LOVE, PEACE, UNDERSTANDING.

“ I know that many of you here in this room… feel lost … afraid. Feel like you don’t have a place to belong. Like everything you do in life, has no meaning, no reward. That your struggles… don’t make sense. That the world… isn’t good anymore. But I promise you, there is a way. And I will show you that way” when he smiled at the audience I felt like he was smiling at me. As if I was the only person in this room. He’s reached into my soul, pulled out all my fears. "If you feel like your being called to. Raise your hand, and believe." I raise my hand. Because I was home now. I belonged and there was a way for me.

Millions of Africans Adore Trump Is This The Real Reason Africa Is Suffering?
Thursday, 16 January 2025 By: TB Obwoge Out of the top 10 countries in the world with dictators most are on the African continent, even if you leave out Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger which are military lead. The fact that so many corrupted presidents who are also morally bankrupt humans, were elected into office in the first place shows the minds of many in Africa.
