Ending Poverty
We abuse food. Every year, every month, every day, every minute someone wastes food. Maybe it is harmless to you. Maybe you just didn’t want the rest of that sandwich but have you ever analyzed the real picture here. There could be millions of individuals who just did the same thing because they felt the same way. The U.S. population recorded in 2018 is 327.2 million. Now, 97.3 million of that are people who make a low income meeting just above the poverty line. Approximately 18.5 million of that number is in poverty. That is about 64% of Texas.

This Election is About YOU
I'm still reeling over the news that a Domestic Terrorist Group, "Wolverine Watchmen", planned to kidnap a sitting Governor of the United States and now we find out that another Governor was also targeted. Our country is in turmoil and reading about, not one but two plots to kidnap, put on trial, and potential kill governors, really put into perspective where we are as a country. Racism and America go hand and hand. They are so intertwined that when people speak out against racism, some Americans, feel as though they are protesting America. Think of how the Trump and his supporters talk about the Black Lives Matter protestors as looters and rioters but commend Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old white teenager who shot and killed protestors, is referred to by Tucker Carlson as "maintaining order when no one else would". Trump has exacerbated this idea that to be Racist is to be American and that America is Racist and we, are now seeing the effects that racism has, not only on black people and people of color but our entire country. If racists can get away with and gain power over one group, it's only a matter of time before they come for YOU. I am reminded of a Quote at the National Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC.

A Sad Commentary For Our Times
Once again the seasons have turned. The days of this past summer were not filled with blissful memories of hot summer nights but, a crescendo of disasters yet to come. It is fall now where one looks forward to beautiful foliage of leaves turning bright red and orange, where Halloween brings out the child in all of us and where pumpkin pies adorn Thanksgiving tables. But, now all of this is overshadowed by circumstances that have run out of control . When we have lost too many lives by a Pandemic that shouldn't have been, when small businesses that once dominated consumer spending in practically every city and town have ceased to exist, when millions are struggling to keep a roof over their head, food on the table and desperately trying to avoid infection of a deadly virus are the realities of today.

Movie Review: 'The Trial of the Chicago 7'
The Trial of the Chicago 7 has been in development for 12 years. Steven Speilberg originated the idea and recruited writer Aaron Sorkin to write a screenplay that would capture the chaos, turmoil and excitement behind one of the many so-called ‘Trial of the Century.’ In 1968 a group of Left Wing Activists were put on trial, accused of deliberately starting riots at the 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago. The subsequent trial was a tyrannical farce that could be adapted into a dozen different movies. That Sorkin has distilled the trial to the most essential, and essentially entertaining elements makes the achievement of The Trial of the Chicago 7 so impressive.

Are Labour set for victory in 2024?
Boris Johnson began the year from a position of seemingly unassailable strength. His party had just secured an 80-seat majority in the December general election, the largest majority his party has won since 1987. The Labour Party had just suffered its fourth consecutive loss, and its worst since 1935. They were in the midst of what could have been a bitter leadership election and were 20% behind the Conservatives in the polls. Yet, several months later, and the two parties are neck-and-neck in the polls, and the new Labour leader, Sir Keir Starmer, is positively being compared to Tony Blair, the most successful Labour leader in the parties history.

Be the change you want to see
To vote or not to vote? We all ask ourselves questions each day. Like paying bills, “Should I rob Peter to pay Paul”? Household bills are more important than others, in my opinion. Household bills and political bills. We make the choice to vote or not.

5 Wild Things Gov. Nyesom Wike Said During The Rivers State #EndSars Protest.
The governor had a lot to say. We are at a very pivotal moment in time here in Nigeria. The youths of the nation have taken to the streets to protest against the menace that is the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) here in the nation because for a long time, the officer of SARS have oppressed the people and used their position of power to bully and harass innocent civilians, especially youth whom they deem to be criminals based on the kinds of phones they use or the type of cars they drive.
