Dear Diary, What a day yesterday. That inauguration was nice and calm. Thank goodness there wasn’t a riot or anyone getting bold. Not too sure what to think about this whole election. Its like, can America get any worse? It probably can but let’s pray for the best. How nice to have a black woman in office, a woman at all in that position is beautiful, but for it to be a black woman is even better. I sure hope they know what they are doing. I think things may get better for America. We are always looked at as the laughingstock of the world and the last 4 years we really were the laughingstock of the world. The headlines across the world about Trump leaving office have been absolutely hilarious. You got a woman online talking about how this is “Our Country” LOL. Ma’am, this is NOT ya’ll country!!! This is stolen land, and this is why America is the way it is now. BECAUSE ITS WAS BUILT ON MURDER, THEFT and SLAVERY. Nothing good can come from that. This is why America will forever be fighting itself. But we all know America will be America. I will always do what I need to do to prosper and be what God needs and wants me to be no matter who is in office.

Kamala Harris: A Vice President of Consequence?
The office of Vice President has long been known as the graveyard of political ambition. Founding father, John Adams was known I have widely disparaged the office one that was heavy on symbolism, but which yielded little political power. Apart from breaking procedural ties in the US Senate, the office of the Vice President is largely seen as an agent of the President. The Vice-President may have the ear of a sitting President but ultimately is essential function is to carry out the vision of the administration he serves. The political consequences of his office ensures that he receives few of the benefits of being part of a successful administration, and almost all the blame for the failures of any sitting President. Examples of Vice President who could not transfer the successes of past administration to a successful run for the Presidency are easy to find. Vice President Al Gore, while not helped by the indiscretions of Bill Clinton, was arguably still well positioned to mount an effective Presidential campaign. Put in charge of nurturing federal support of emerging in industries in Silicon Valley, Al Gore had witnessed the emergence of a thriving tech sector that would play a key role in the creation of a thriving economy. Internationally he had been part of an administration that had waged a successful military campaign in one of the divisive regions of the world while only losing a handful of us service men. Unlike Hillary Clinton, Gore’s time in office had been free of incidents like Benghazi. Yet despite the economic, environmental and military achievements of the Clinton administration Gore found himself unable to achieve sufficient recognition for his achievements and found himself defeated by an opponent who many had perceived as a weak contender for the office of the Presidency. It is hardly that more than a few of those who have aspired to the Presidency have declined to the office of the Vice President.

NHS Vaccination Cards
Written By: Leon Zadok - January 21, 2021 After months of hiding away and dodging one another in an attempt to avoid contagion, the coronavirus vaccine will, undoubtedly, bring much peace of mind to many. Now we see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Her name is Kamala
Donald Trump has officially left the White House, but that doesn't mean his supporters are going to change their tunes. They've gotten used to living openly with their intolerance and/or full-on hatred for groups that differ from themselves. Some of them still aren't facing the reality that their candidate lost the election, and as we all know, the reactions haven't been pretty.

“Equal Access to Our Democracy”
My friends, If the past four years has taught us anything about this our republic, we’ve discovered even though we are the country of Ronald Reagan, a shining city, sitting as a beacon on a hill, this our great democracy does not come without its challenges. I believe our challenges tho many, and complex in scope, all share a common theme. The people perish, because of a lack of understanding.

Open Letter To Donald Trump
In the last ten years I considered going to the USA once in my life, because the country has beautiful areas to go to. I love seeing new surroundings. As I didn't have any money to go yet, I have reconsidered going to the USA. Not because I don't love nature in the USA, but because of one leader of the country: YOU, Mr. Trump.

Goodbye, Donald
Dear Mr. Trump, For the last 4 years, you have proudly held the office as President of the United States. Very outspoken and controversial, you always spoke your mind, regardless of how much backlash you received for it in return. The worst possible hand had been dealt to you during your term but you never folded. There are many people who do not agree with how you have been treated throughout your time in office. Unfortunately, most of them are now being silenced as well and labeled “extremists” (Guynn, 2021).

Joe Biden Entering the White House Gives Me Big 'Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners' Energy
I'll preface this one by saying - America, I'm sorry. And also, disclaimer, I don't assume that everything will be sunshine and fairy shit under the Biden/Harris presidency. Politicians will be crap, always. However, the last four years has not been easy on you. In fact, the present is not easy on you. Our boy Joe feat. Queen Kamala have got a long road ahead, and a big ol' mess to clean up.

Madison Cawthorn Does Not Represent the Disabled Community
When I watched Madison Cawthorn stand up from his wheelchair at the Republican National Convention, I saw a part of myself. I was born with cerebral palsy. I now am a 23-year-old freelance writer with two Bachelor’s degrees: one in Classical Civilizations and the other in Writing. I write mostly about disability and mental health, but that hasn’t always been the case. For years, I struggled unknowingly with internalized ableism. Internalized ableism is when Disabled people (often unconsciously) internalize the biases our society has towards Disabled people. My internalized ableism contributed to a nearly decade-long eating disorder, and made me deny a part of my identity. I now write about mental health and disability unapologetically because I see my disability as an asset instead of a hindrance.

A Letter From Donald Trump to Joe Biden
On this Inauguration Day, 100% reputable news source CNN released a report stating that former president Donald Trump (MAN, that feels good to type!) left newly elected President Joe Biden a “very generous letter” before not attending Biden’s inauguration like a petulant child. I, professional freelance journalist Jonathan Sim, have obtained a copy of that letter. This is what it read.
