Welcome to our weekly Leaderboard update! We're delighted to highlight Vocal's most popular stories and emerging talents. Join us as we recognize this week's standout contributors and their remarkable achievements.
A reminder of some ground rules we use to formulate the Leaderboard:
The time period of data analyzed for each weekly Leaderboard is collected from 12:00am Wednesday - 11:59pm Tuesday ET each week. Creators can only win one place in one category on the leaderboard. Creators cannot win the same category two consecutive weeks. Creators will win the category that they placed the highest in. However, if the category they placed the highest in is the category they won the previous week, and they placed in another category in a lower place, they will win the category that they did not place in the previous week, in the lower place.

Day 4 of Quitting
If this is how sobriety feels, maybe itβs better to go through life a little buzzedβ¦ this, along with other hits like, I want to kill myself, I wish I was dead, and Iβm going to throw myself off a bridge have been the only thoughts on rotation these past few days. I promise myself that if, in a month, I still feel like this (βthisβ meaning despondent, full of rage, and simultaneously numb) I can go back to smoking. Until mid-February though? Nicotine is off the table.

Iβve been absolutely blown away by the responses to βHelp Wanted: AI Vigilante Task Forceβ and I applaud the Vocal Team for recognizing the potential pitfalls in the Emerging Creator category with the influx AI! Based on some thinking Iβve done in response to the comments on my story Iβd like to designate any award $ I win on the leaderboard as prize money for the next unofficial challenge I host. Iβve gotten $90 prior to this week and gave out $100 for the Keep It 100 Challenge I hosted back in November so this most recent placement $ will go toward the next one!
