It is fragile,

complex yet agile.

Hearts and minds entwined.

Magically and wonderfully designed.

Delicate and strong like a daisy chain,

kisses that taste as sweet as champagne,

blossoms like flowers in the Spring.

Instill happiness, and people sing.

Song lyrics that pull on heartstrings.

It encompasses so many things.

Well-wrought, Venerable Babsha! Love exists, I think, independently in nature as a blind force, but when people share and cultivate it, it beautifies their experience. Here, in your short poem, we have an excellent example!

Love it, Babs!! "Hearts and minds entwined" reminds me of John Donne's love poems--very metaphysical!

  • 'Tain't it wonderful when love remains lyrical?

  • Awww, this was so wonderful and beautifully penned! Loved it so much!

When it comes to love, its descriptions are endless and that’s what you have portrayed here in this beautiful poem ❤️

  • Love this poem, and the last line especially. Love indeed encompasses many things...isn't so straightforward...but is still love! Happy Valentine's, Babs!
