anxiety
A look at anxiety in its many forms and manifestations; what is the nature of this specific pattern of extreme fear and worry?
These 3 minutes in the morning let you say goodbye to anxiety
I don't know how many mornings I used to wake up to an alarm clock, reluctantly open my blurry eyes, reach out and grab my phone, and then go into my day passively and hurriedly. It wasn't until I learned about mental health, positive thinking, etc. that I realized that mornings are so important and largely determine the state of one's entire day.

Children's Mental Disorder
Unhealthy relationship in a family as cause of children’s mental disorder, yes or no? Our definitions of family vary from person to person, though if you ask, most will say family is about trust, acknowledgement, learning, solidarity, and love, at the very least. Yet, it would also not be surprising that some of those same individuals could describe periods of childhood in which the family relationships were not healthy. This might be parent to parent relationship, parent to child, or anyone that is close enough in daily life to have familial status. Yes, they could say there were less than ideal relationship dynamics, though adults often do not see their family life as having been ’out of the norm’, usually because they survived it, even when problems of neglect or abuse existed.

Negativity Killing My Vibe
Everyone says that America has bad reputation for new immigrants. My husband because of his skin tone he fears he will be beaten and killed by corrupted police, and government officials in power. Yet he is willing to put his fears aside to make sure we can both have a good life in America. His fears are common though racism is everywhere.

Do Depressed People Want Actual Help or Just Sympathy?
One thing I’ve seen constantly over 16 years of using social media is the number of people talking about depression. Specifically, how depressed THEY are. I can often detect a pattern of these kinds of posts from a handful of the same people.

In my own world
Do you know the feeling when you just want to be alone and not disturbed by anything or anyone? There are plenty of nice and fun things out there but yet hiding in one’s nest feels the best option. For some people, avoiding others implies that you are offended, so you don’t want to speak to them. It’s hard to explain unless you have experienced it yourself.

Have you been defeated by your own mind? Life is difficult for many, but according to psychologists, it is you who needs to change.
I touched my skull - just right behind the ear - and found the texture discomforting. Am I getting dandruff again? So, I try probing better, peeling away to reveal (or create) a rush.

Symptoms of anxiety
Anxiety is the irritation that arises from excessive worry about the current situation and the future. Some people, who have trouble sleeping at night, lie in bed and wake up in the middle of the night remembering what happened during the day; so is the constant fear that something bad will happen simply a mood swing, or do you have anxiety?
