Winter Solstice Blessings To All
A Villanelle For The Winter Solstice Inspired By The Painting By Angie Livingstone (The Glittering Fox)

Introduction
This is my sixteenth piece inspired by Angie Linvingstone's amazing artwork. You can find her on Facebook on the link below, and her comments on my work are very positive.
The music is Jethro Tull's "Ring Out, Solstice Bells" for you to listen to as you read.
Today, December 21st 2024 is the day of the Winter Solstice, the shortest day and the longest night and we can celebrate to coming of longer, lighter days.
This is a villanelle for you all.

Winter Solstice Blessings To All
Now The Day Of The Longest Night
Hear The Bells In The Tower Tall
πππ
We'll Climb The Hill And Never Fall
See Earth Fire, A Beautiful Sight
Winter Solstice Blessings To All
πππ
Sing Out Your Hearts, And Make The Call
Above The Moon And Stars Delight
Hear The Bells In The Tower Tall
πππ
We Feel Gaia's Power Enthral
All Earth's Creature's Will See The Light
Winter Solstice Blessings To All
πππ
Now Climb The Path Up To The Tor
And Let Everyone Celebrate
Hear The Bells In The Tower Tall
πππ
This Winter Solstice Night Will Fall
Then Give Way To The Dawning Light
Winter Solstice Blessings To All
Hear The Bells In The Tower Tall
