nature poetry
An ode to Mother Nature; poems that take their inspiration from the great outdoors.
Light Supreme
Is that light that yet breaks through my window? A brightness so profound; dancing on the glass like so; it's begging to be found. The haunting dead of night did thus decline; my watchful eye ever wandering. A new brightness, a joy to call mine; the glorious day ever thundering. Sounds of birds doth yea appear; singing to each other love's gracious song. Their calls distant but seemingly near; to wait until tomorrow to again hear them: strikes me as tragically long. Day calls to me like a formidable pulse of light; and yet it still beckons the dark long night.
