Summertime Tranquility
Sandy Earth, Ocean Air, Salty Water and a Fiery Seize
Once rough and bold, now smooth as silk, it is time that has refined you.
Your beauty transformed by the water’s surge is eloquently unmatched.
Embrace my soles and guide my feet for I seek transformation too,
Now ground me with your supple sheath to release the grief attached!
Exposed to you is my shadow self and the afflictions that I have faced,
So, I call upon your zephyr to carry my angst afar,
And with your breath of sweet rugosa, my roots soon dance your pace.
You vanquish all my woes away, no pain, no burden, no scar.
I implore your strength to carve away debris of yesterday,
To plunge me into your darkest wrath and shed me limb to limb.
Your salty kiss bursts my shell and my constraints all wash away,
Among your current I rejoice as the tides hum a hymn.
I bask in the heat of a billion flames as I manifest in your light,
Until the moon and stars arrive to guide me through the night.
