"Fragments of Now"
Sunlight shines through leaves. Wind rattles secrets in the branches. I remember grandmother’s hands kneading dough. The scent of cinnamon flows over time like sand through fingers. What is this feeling of memory falling? Falling … floating … bird call echoes and hollows; drums its rhythm inside my ribcage heartbeat syncopated with distant traffic; the city breathing in and out with people forever rushing every which way. why? Clouds morphing into dragons, castles, faces melting across sky blue forever endless like possibility or regret, both churning together like a sip of coffee on my tongue bittersweet like the taste of goodbyes, unspoken words hanging in the air heavy as summer thunderstorms waiting to break open flood of emotion washing away all pretence leaving raw truth exposed vulnerable beautiful terrifying exhilarating alive alive. Every cell is alive singing along with atoms in the universe rhythmic dance of breath exhale inhale like everything is nothing now then forever fleeting eternal and paradox of existence. WE ARE ALL ONE BREATH ONE HEARTBEAT ONE MOMENT THAT IS INFINITY ALL AT ONCE TIME IS COMPRESSED EXPANDING MEANINGLESS AND MEANINGFUL SUN AND MOON AND STARS EXPLODING IN SLOW MOTION OVER Aeons.
