Unfiltered and unflattering
A little of this
A spattering of that
I always write off the cuff
There’s not much time to think about it
When it comes to poems
It’s all alla prima
I write on my phone the most
Because I don’t want to try to remember it for later
A splitter splatter of my gray matter
Releasing a bit of my mad hatter
Just rummaging through the chatter in my brain
Letting the words pour out like rain
To water the fields of my imagination
Is it separate poems
Or just one long continuation

Love this. Can relate to it, because often my own take on poetry, unless it's for a specific challenge or form, is formless streams! Great take!
