Letters Across the Sea
It was a cold evening in December. The wind howled outside the small apartment window as Daniel sat down at his desk with a cup of coffee. The room was quiet, except for the soft ticking of the clock on the wall. He stared at the blank page in front of him, unsure of how to begin. But he knew he had to write. He had promised Emily that he would send her a letter—one from the heart.

My travels Waking up In Hingham Ma To the sound of traffic On nearby highway To the bacon and eggs breakfast from nana waking up In Cape Cod MA To the smell of sand by near by beach Waking up In Orlando Florida To bright sunshine Be woken up to get ready for pool or beach Waking up In a hotel To sounds of footsteps and voices Of other guests in the hallway waking up On a holiday To the sound of my saying Aunt Kelly wake up I didnt travel much If I did it was to go to see my family or enjoy the beach.
