It’s an effervescent antidepressant
When you can’t pay your rent
Money whores stripping us of everything
As we cling to our last life line to reality
The fallacy of their phallic immorality
Killing humanity for a bag
Dragging us to destruction
Because they don’t know how to function
A civilization on the brink of extinction
While everyone is free thinking
They caught us blinking
Now our blood tingles down our spine
If they could
They’d take our water for wine
A people ruled by religion with no humanity
A Lutherian hell
The name of their beliefs forgotten
Rotted in the desert of despair
An engine of sorrow
Redlining like there’s no tomorrow
