The English lyrics repeat in the Huichol language which is an indigenous Aztec language which goes back many generations. I am Aztec on my mom’s side and Nordic from my father.

Seconds ago, the sullen sun set on the two of us… my exuberant furry companion and me. A fresh breeze embraces us, delivering welcome relief from the day’s oppressive heat. I studied in San Diego State and Aztec was the sports team. Good to know.
I have never liked saying 'sorry for your loss'...I prefer to say 'I hope they have a good journey to the next phase of existence'. Let us rejoice for a life in transition. May you find solace in our heartfelt thoughts and wishes.. The wand awaits the next. Take care of yourself Rick.
