First Granddaughter, Abri
Just yesterday you were a baby.
Now you are a lady.
I remember how we hung out,
Walked all about
The town,
Played in the park,
Walked to find the lost cat.
Remember the walk in the park?
We never found the cat,
But we had fun,
As we spun
The web of time.
We laughed, we cried,
We sighed.
You live in another state,
As of late.
I woke up today,
Thinking about you,
I love you.
Abri, let us chat,
Hangout,
It is just like that,
To shout
