fact or fiction
Is it fact or merely fiction? Fact or Fiction explores the myths and beliefs we hold about what makes a good poem and the poetry rules that were made to be broken.
Soul Flying
Soul Flying A battle between my heart and mind, a twin flame destined for love's divine. Like a tornado takes the land I'm struggling to understand— the invisible lines inside of me that send messages in synchronicity. Running from my head to my feet, I can feel the intensity, and my soul is flying.

Not Your Kind of Woman
I ain't tall. I don't wear short shorts. I like dresses. But not short skirts. I don't follow trends. I don't use internet for fame. Yes, I do use social media. For priorities, but not to put a perfume on my name. I don't dance. I feel ashamed. But I do sing. Songs of love and pain. I barely socialize. I choose people to jive. No, I don't discriminate. I just chose people who truly appreciate. I refrain using bad words. Though some thought it's normal. I don't use alcohol. Just to stay cool. I don't hangout with the people you hangout with. I don't play online games you love, wasted the time you spent. I don't eat your favorite food. And I am not "popular," whom you'll follow. I don't crave fame. I don't have an angelic voice. I don't dress like a celebrity. Because this is my choice. This is ME! A lady who does not drink with a stranger. A lady who does not know how to dance. A lady who always keep silent in a quarrel. A lady who avoids toxic people. A lady who just want to live a happy life. Not worrying of anything. Not even you leaving. Because I know my worth. I know how much I sacrificed. Just to have and hold you, man. But, I also know, am not your kind of woman. :)
