dog
It's no coincidence that a dog is a man's best friend; they're more faithful than most other animals, and more faithful than many people.
Jorge’s Door Watching Sleep Routine
Jorge’s Door Routine When Only I Was Home He has since passed away, but the family dog, Jorge, had a routine that he would perform every time my parents were gone. His routine only changed slightly when there were no humans at all in the house. When my parents were gone, he would alternate between staying on my heels and going to check to see if there were any indicators that they had returned. Of course, I never could figure out why he would constantly check the door, after all, he could hear someone outside from inside, even if he was on the other side of the house from where they were.

Mom's Gone
My sister Sophie and I were laying outside in the warm October sun. Trying to be good girls for our mom who was resting after having a heart attack. It had been a very scary couple of days. Our grandma was taking care of us while momma was in the hospital recovering. We were both very worried about our momma, she takes care of us and we missed her a lot. She did come home and while she looked tired and sore we could tell she was feeling a whole lot better. For a few days she just stayed at home and rested but eventually she said she needed to run some errands.

Why Your Dog Is More Than Just A Dog
So many people have them yet most never acknowledge the depth of the parallels in which dogs exist compared to us as human beings. They are more than just shedding four legged mammals that beg for your food and demand walks. Perhaps if everyone gave them the necessary respect in order to view them as more, the percentage of people that see them as “just dogs” would drastically dwindle.

Karen, My Story
Ok, so the image may be misleading, but trust me, its got everything to do with this story. So this took place about a year ago when I was just walking my dogs. I had 4 dogs with me, Tank, Gambler, Bourbon, and Jet. Tank is a huge 200 pound tank of a Pitbull, he is 100% muscle and was about 8 years old. Gambler is a Staffordshire Lab mix and was 1/2 of a year old at the time, and still looked like a puppy. Jet was about 2 months old and is an insane Rottwiler. Bourbon is currently 15 years old and a mix of so many different breeds we couldn't bother trying to figure out what he is. So we're just walking around the park near us when a lady and her tiny little dog come out of nowhere. Tank and Bourbon are well trained and well behaved, so they just kept walking, but gambler and jet went crazy, barking and sniffing and rolling over. I ushered them on and the lady yanked her dog back and we engaged in the following conversation.
