We Feel Small In The Presence Of Those We Love
Sons Perspective “Oh, you thought you had me huh!” my father taunts as he lifts himself out of the pool, “Your old man still got it kid but nice try.” I don’t know how but he’d just beat me in a race to the edge of the pool. The man was a lot quicker than I had thought.

Hell Hath No Fury Like A Bull Scorned
It's been three years since our entire town witnessed the massacre of a mother cow and her two calves that was displayed in front of us as a grandiose statement of power by our new mayor, Thomas Glover. As the gruesome spectacle played out, the counterpart of the cow, a massive dark bull roared and bucked against the tall iron gates that held him back. I'm sure more than a few of us thought he was going to burst through and surge through the crowd; sending both bodies of dust and actual bodies flying through the air. But slam! after slam! the gates held strong and the crowd, high on adrenaline, cheered on.

The Sacrifice Of Oshun
This was the second time I walked by the box, only today it looked soft and damp from the storm last night. The middle of the box slightly dipped inward, revealing just a small point of whatever lay inside. This time as I passed the box, I was curious.

Mystical Mama
The guru A lot of people are under some false impression that spirituality is one specific thing when the truth is, it’s not. As someone who is deeply involved with all things spiritual, let me tell you, it can literally be anything that you want it to be. There are a few basic common ground practices like empathy, meditation, breathwork, and connecting with crystals but even these techniques aren't necessary to consider yourself spiritual. Spirituality, simply put, is the development of a connection to self, spirit, and sometimes the universe. You choose which you’d like to focus on, but if you’re like me, you’ll focus on all three. So far I can say that I am mastering this.

Becoming The Teacher And The Student
I think the average person at some point in their life has made the effort to learn as much as possible about at least one thing. If you haven't yet, I encourage you to do so. Something that consists of the mastery of it bringing you a sense of fulfillment because you are so passionate about it. Something that you'd have no problem teaching to a room full of people, even if you never do. It can be the journey to hone a skill or the study of a practice or topic. As long as you possess a genuine drive to know all that you can know about it and yet still remember that you don't.

Your Power Lies Within Your Individuality
In a world that has a main agenda to manipulate us all into wanting to look, act and think the exact same way, it is vital that I stress the fact that the reason for this agenda is solely because our personal power comes from our own unique individuality. And they know this. Your power is stripped from you the moment you decide to suppress who you truly are out of fear of what the rest of the world might think. Your power is stripped from you the moment you start to pretend to be something that you are not just so that you can fit in. When in reality, the momentary ego satisfactory that comes from fitting in, is nothing compared to the soul gratification that comes from being your true authentic self.

The Ongoing Battle To Keep Our Hearts Open
As most of us have already acknowledged through a variety of cliche sayings such as the famous “life is a Merri-go-round”, life is in fact a series of extremely emotional up and down events. Some inspire true joy and happiness while others incur the lower vibrational emotions such as anger, grief, sorrow, regret and so on. I’m here to explain that it is these events that cause these lower vibrational emotions that act as, let’s just say, hurdles in our own personal journey toward long term fulfillment. Long term emotional, physical, spiritual and financial freedom. What if I told you that everything “wrong” in your life, whether done to you or through an extension of you, something or someone you love, was purposely designed to cause you to give up. Or in a more thorough term, to cause you to close your heart. Thus blocking you from the pure magical guidance that your heart provides. Also known as intuition. You are then only acting from your mind. Which is not a bad thing if you have complete control over your mind and can easily center it, however it takes an open heart to be able to do so. Most people here on earth are solely basing their decisions and actions off of a mind that is completely engulfed by memories of past mistakes, trauma, sadness, pain, and anything that ever hurt. They use these past experiences as an excuse to no longer act from a place of having an open heart but fail to realize that the abilitily to still be able to do so, is the one general mission of this life here on earth.

Why Your Dog Is More Than Just A Dog
So many people have them yet most never acknowledge the depth of the parallels in which dogs exist compared to us as human beings. They are more than just shedding four legged mammals that beg for your food and demand walks. Perhaps if everyone gave them the necessary respect in order to view them as more, the percentage of people that see them as “just dogs” would drastically dwindle.

I Am The Catalyst
Most people do not ever attempt to delve past the material world which is the physical world we see and interact with everyday. Due to this, many people deprive themselves of the luxury that comes with realizing that the physical aspect of the world is not even half of what this world has to offer nor is it half of all there is to experience. As children we were more familiar with this other aspect of the world. We were more comfortable with believing something existed without having to see it. Our imagination was one of our greatest tools and I'm here to stress the fact that it still is.
