After eating, a state of satiation appears that has
two stages:
primary satiation results when impulses from the oral cavity and stomach receptors stimulated when a meal is consumed put the breakes on the brain food centre:
true staiation results when nutrients from the digestive process enter the bloodstream.
The feeling of satiation can be divided into 7 levels as depicted in figure 4.

The natural feeling of hunger is caused by the decrease in glucose in the blood; the acceleration of motor activity of the stomach, duodenum,and small intestines;and the increase in secretions from the pancreatic gland.The degree of expressiveness of these processes defines the level of the feeling of hunger.
The intensity of hunger alos has 7 levels as depicted in figure 5.

To create a joint system to measure the levels of hunger and satiation,it is necessary to combine both of the above scales.
It is possible to display graphecally the relationship between feelings of hunger and satiation over time in the following way:the scale of measurement of degrees of satiation and hunger is displayed on the Y-axis and time is on the X-axis.

1.5 Display of hunger and satiation through satialogy and satiagraphy
What are satiology and satiagraphy?
Satialogy is the study of the complex mechanisms of the feelings of hunger and satiation of a human (satiare-to satiate (lat.)
satiagraphy is the graphic representation of the relationship between feelings of hunger and satiation in various time intervals.
for objective registration of the degree of feelings of hunger and satiation in various time intervals,special graphics have been developed.such graphics are called satiagrams.
the analysis of the changes in hunger and satiation with the help of satiagrams allows the correct understanding of the relationships of cause and effect leading to overeating, excessive weight,and obesity.satiagrams are important in determining the principles of one`s nutritional behaviour.While studying satiagrams,it is imprtant to analyze in detail the subjects volume and structure of food intake,consumption of calories, level of physical activity,emotional condition,endocrine level,metabolism,and other related things.
for compiling a stiagram,detailed information is gathered from each examined individual.the time,duration,and volume of food in recorded,and the change in hunger and satiation is recorded throughout the day and registered in a table. by transferring the above-stated data into a graphic system,we get the following satiagram.

Normal recurrence of hunger and satiation appear in the so-called "green corridor." on the satiagram from the level of medium hunger to the level of medium satiation.
1.6 Food selection for intuitive nutrition
For the practical application of the principles of preventive intuitive nutrition,it is necessary to know the criteria for the food products used for this purpose.
