Why People Who Think Too Much Lose So Muchhttps://medium.com/illumination/why-people-who-think-too-much-lose-so-much-4eb5a321fab0

I am a deep thinker. I overthink everything. That gave me the power to know myself, so no one can tell me who I am.

There is a quiet tragedy happening every day, and it doesn’t make headlines. It happens in the minds of people who think too much. William Claude

I think a lot about life, my world, and the people in it. What I get from my overthinking is vital life lessons. If this is a tragedy, I will take it, because it saves me a lot of time and money. My life decisions rest on my ability to think through every decision to find sense and wisdom in them, thus making decisions that have been carrying me for more than forty years.

Overthinking is often mistaken for intelligence. Society praises people who analyze deeply, who consider every angle, who “don’t rush into things.” William Claude

My overthinking is used with common sense, wisdom, understanding of life, living, my world and the people in it. I think about everything before it’s done. That tiny action helps me make better life choices. I go into everything headfirst, because brains are in my heart and hearts are in my brain. I think with kindness and love.

My Image

I have a washing machine and dryer in my head. Every idea, thought, action, and decision goes in there first. If it comes out good, it goes to the dryer. If not, it goes back in until I am satisfied. The same for the dryer.

My mouse is giving me issues where the cursor changes color. It annoys and frustrates me. I think about it, then ask Google how to fix it. It shows me, and I fixed it. I must think about it to find a solution.

This is my stove. There are two large burners, one small one, and another smaller one.

My Image

The small pots go on a smaller burner. The bigger pots go on a bigger burner. That’s common sense. I see humans put the small pot on the big burner and the big pot on the small burner, wasting gas.

They lose time. They lose opportunities. They lose confidence. And sometimes, they lose themselves. William Claude

I never lose myself, but when I think about everything that I am supposed to do, I find myself before I make stupid mistakes. That saves me time, boosts my confidence, and I learn new things about myself.

People who think too much often suffer twice: once in their imagination, and once in reality. William Claude

I never suffer, nor do I lose from overthinking about my life decisions. But what I learn from mistakes is vital life lessons that give me the power to never repeat them. My imagination is a tool, never a weapon. If you read my power of words, you know.

They imagine rejection before it happens. Failure before it’s possible. Loss before it’s real. By the time the actual event arrives, they are already emotionally exhausted. William Claude

I take the time to know the humans in my life. As a deep thinker, I became aware of this too. I can read emotions on faces, in spoken words, and also in written words. I listen to my instincts, and pain is my guide. All of that came from deep thinking.

People who think too much lose so much because life is not a puzzle to be solved in the head. It is an experience meant to be lived through action. — William Claude

Life is a puzzle, and deep thinking, a damn good plan, and several backup plans are the best ways to solve it. Sensible smart life decisions began from your thinking place. Life and humans are unpredictable. Plans must be in place to counteract all of that life sends our way. Thinking people make better decisions, and many of life’s most difficult answers are below the surface. Solutions to stop hell are never at the top. We must dig deeper to find the best ones.

By thinking deeply, humans give me the power to read their minds through their actions, choices, decisions, and intentions. I am hardly wrong, so I get the name Miss Perfect. I am not. I just think deeply about life.

Overthinking Is Often Fear Wearing Intelligence’s Mask. — William Claude

He is right. I fear cruelty, thoughtlessness, hatred, envy, war, injustice, greed, dishonesty, etc and everything that is being used to destroy and harm humanity and the earth.

The destruction of the Earth isn’t being done by overthinkers. It’s been done by humans who don’t think long or deeply enough to be aware of their actions, choices, and decisions, and the damage they’re doing to humanity. It’s done by humans who don’t think far enough to be aware that they are murdering innocent women and children.

I am a deep thinker, and that is a gift from my maker, its use as a tool, never a weapon to harm anyone or myself. Annelise Lords
