A Moment of Peace
In this period of stress and anxiety we have all undergone some pretty intense situations. Between violence in the streets, COVID-19, and the upcoming election date that determines who runs the country for the next 4 years, we have literally driven out a majority of the sanity left in our nation. (oh, and there was something about murder hornets, but I personally haven’t seen one, crossing my fingers)

The dangers of biking in the city without bikers.
I've had many encounters with bicycling accidents that were pretty close brushes with death. It started making me reconsider biking in the city in general. It's too bad because my main goal for biking was to eliminate my car instead I think I kind of fell into the status quo. It pains me to say but I'm part of the problem because I'm not willing to have the courage to continue biking in the city for a common cause.

A Morning Routine For Your Soul, Heart, Nerve, and Sinew. First Place in Glow from Within Challenge.
If you're like me, my morning routine sets the pace for the rest of the day. If I don't get my morning mushroom mix, I'm easily irritated. If I don't have music playing, my body and mind will wander aimlessly. Like most of my friends and others that I know, when they don't get their coffee to start their day, the withdrawal symptoms are awful.

Do Professional Athletes Ever Drink Alcohol?
There is a common belief that all successful athletes avoid alcohol like the plague but this is not necessarily the case. You see, when talking about professional athletes, popular media usually portrays them as these disciplined, driven machines without a single vice. This portrayal is, truth be told, quite dishonest and it’s only justified if the one creating the image is trying to set the right example in the eyes of the younger audience. The problem lies in setting impossible standards, ones that these kids won’t ever be able to live up to. Such a thing will inevitably lead to disappointment and all negative ramifications that come along.

Detox
Every day I take CoQ10, apple cider vinegar capsules, Moringa, Zinc, Magnesium, Lutien, D3, B12 and try to get 5-8 hours of sleep each night. When I only get 5-6 hours of sleep I take a nap after work. I’m 51 and this routine has really chased away wrinkles. I take baths with Epsom salts and oils to keep my skin hydrated and to detox. I meditate every day, often to music or chants or just ambient sound with whale or dolphin sounds in the mix. This routine awakens my pineal gland and allows my to access a higher consciousness.
