Besides having it with rice and getting to know it better placed behind books and enjoying its roots, whether we had a closer association with Akkapana as children we were not sure but one day our mother as an adult reminisced her past with us and that was when we found out that one of the many condiments that was served with our rice dishes was a Akkapana leaf sambal.
In earlier days, all the home remedies were done by the mother. Nearly all, however, worked fine, and no one went wrong. She was aware of home cures for a kid's stomachache, cold, and gas. Behind the kitchen, she tended to small medicinal plants in a designated area. A ginger plant, a turmeric plant.

When reading the word Akkapana, almost everyone is familiar with this as a magical medicine that can dissolve stones in the bladder.
Because of its unique properties, Akkapana is also known by the name of stone dissolving. However, Akkapana is not a drug that can be used solely for that reason. Akkapana, though not widely known, is a good example, it can be used for hemorrhoids and its variant blood dyscrasias. In other words, Akkapana can be suitable as medicine for many diseases related to the lower digestive tract.
Take a handful of Akkapana leaves and once or twice a week boil them in a pan with red onion, pepper, lime, and salt as required and make a paste like Gotukola and take it. Works for sick and healthy people alike. The leaves of akkapana aloe may be squeezed, and other elements of lime are mixed in to make a tasty drink.

In itching, ulcers, and wounds on the skin, cleaning the leaves of Akkapana in boiled water will provide relief. Yet they can have better results even barred amid the western medical treatment aggrandized by implementing Akkapana once or twice a week to patients with bladder stones. Boil some Akkapana leaves, crush them in it, cover for 5 min, filter, and drink.
Akkapana leaves boiled in hot water and drinking also benefits patients suffering from acid reflux, stomach inflammation, and bloating. This treatment can also help to alleviate pain in young girls who suffer from painful menstrual cycles. The same remedy is also useful in easing the discomfort caused by the enlargement of the prostate gland in older men.
We can use Akkapana for patients with blood disorders, blood dysentery, and blood dysentery. Akkapana leaves are boiled in a pan, and the juice is mixed with about two table spoons of honey and drunk to alleviate pain and reduce blood discharge. As a local medicine remedy for constipation, equal parts of Akkapana leaves and kohlrabi stems can be crushed and boiled in a pan, and the juice used with honey.
Due to its external application and effect on the digestive system, it is said to have a magical effect on human health, especially for the treatment of most women's diseases, making you drink orange flowers and Akkapana boiled water as a treatment to get the instant benefit for all problems related to women's urinary diseases and diarrhea.
Akkapana is used in local medicine and Ayurveda. It has been done to prevent constipation by well cleaning, cutting into small pieces, drying and grinding the root system of this plant, and adding to hot water such as coffee. Akkapana is also used for Ayurvedic powders.

Therefore, Akkapana is a cure for many diseases that we do not know. However, our generation is not well aware of it so we cannot take proper advantage of it.
