You Cry When You Need To

Humans are not the only creatures that can cry. All mammals are able in one way or another to express their pain, loneliness, and sadness. But do you know the difference? The fact that only we are taught from birth in which situations we can afford to cry and in which we cannot.

Girls are taught that there is nothing wrong with crying because it is a form of self-expression, but then they are labeled as being overly emotional. Boys are taught from an early age that they should not cry in principle, because crying is cowardice, weakness.

As we get older, we get used to the fact that one of us has more freedom in self-expression, including crying, and someone has to keep everything to himself. Honestly, we shouldn't give in to pressure - cry if you need to. Whoever you are.

You cry to understand exactly how you feel

Crying can help you discover the feelings and emotions you forgot about for a long time, but which, at the same time, did not become less real. Have you ever cried for one thing and then moved on to a completely different one? This is because it does not give you another chance to release negative emotions by sinking them deep inside.

"Just because you cry doesn't mean you're weak. From the moment we were born, crying meant we were alive, "said Charlotte Bronte.

If you allow anger, pain, and other negative emotions to gather inside you, you will allow them to turn into bitter poison.

Some people prefer to hide their emotions as deeply as possible, but in this sense, they are wrong. The deeper we immerse ourselves in our souls, the better we know ourselves and the freer we become.

Do not be afraid that you will find there, in the depths, the most secret desires, and the most terrible fears. In those moments, only sincere crying can help you feel truly free.

You cry to cleanse your soul

Just as a good soul can cleanse the body, tears cleanse our soul. After we have cried, we feel free, full of energy and desire to move forward, no matter how impossible our external circumstances may seem.

From year to year, we accumulate negative feelings in ourselves that we do not dare to let go because we believe that this can complicate our lives and those who are dear to us even more and cause even greater pain to all. The problem is that the accumulation of all this sadness, irritation, fear, and anger does not go unnoticed.

Believe me, crying is not a waste of time at all. It gives us enough time to understand exactly what hurts and allows us to develop a strategy in the future to keep moving forward and finally solve unresolved issues. So don't try to hold back: cry as much as you need to, then wipe away the tears and keep going.

And always remember that tears can be not only tears of pain but also tears of happiness.

Weeping, we remember that we are all human

You cry not only because it is good for your health - you cry to make contact with your humanity. Crying also helps to remember that we are all human. Fragile, imperfect, weak, but so wonderful people.

"Tears are often the last smile of love," Stendhal said.

Tears help to express your feelings better and there is nothing wrong with them, only if they are sincere. Never use them for blackmail, but don't be ashamed of tears if you feel the need to cry. Tears are a weakness!

Do you have the habit of crying, whenever things get difficult? I cry most of the time when I'm furious, but I only do that when I'm alone.
