humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
Life's Experiences
We live our lives by rules created out of our experiences. This usually means that if someone is standoffish, there is a reason. If someone dates people, male or female, that don’t treat them with respect, there is a reason. Our experiences dictate who we are and how we handle situations. This is a story of how my life experiences collided with someone who lived the same but the experience was different in their life.

Crumble.
Crumble. Not again.” I whimpered, the floor starting to shake beneath me, rumbling like waves on an uneasy ocean. I grasped the locket around my neck, my fingers finding the pointed end of the heart and the two half circles of the top and clasping it tightly in my palm as I leaned against the corner of the room, pulling my legs into my chest. I clenched my teeth, tears springing to my eyes as I felt the feeling of the building move around me.

Within the Pages of a Book
Within the Pages of a Book Choosing a Night Time Story Many bed-time story books are available on bookstore shelves. I enjoy browsing through books to lull children to sleep with the understanding that they were loved and cherished and books that encourage a sleep full of positive thoughts and assurances of night time safety. In our home, however, bedtime stories were always chosen by our children. The personal favorites were read and re-read until the covers became dog-eared and the binding was broken or non-existent. Each child seemed to be drawn to particular books that became bedtime favorites. Now that our children are adults, I look back and understand why they were drawn to the books that they chose and how those much-loved books impacted on their futures.

T.V.
There are 285 million television sets right now in American households. That’s a whopping 233 million more than in 1960. In the golden era of streaming, it has become too easy to sit in front of the t.v. for a few relaxing hours in the evening or to plop your children in front of it and let the electronic babysitter do all the work. Many of us simply keep the television on for company as we cook or get ready for work. While for others, the act of watching t.v. has become a hobby. For me, a passion. As well therapy, medicine, and a connection to the world.

A Letter
“Time is what we want most but what we use worst.” – William Penn Back in biblical times people lived to be as old as nine hundred and sixty nine years old. Yes things were immensely different back then, but when you sit back and put things into perspective was it really all that different?

The Lemon Dress
My mother will tell you I always had my own taste in fashion. I would wear dance costumes to the library. I would wear plaid vests with mixed print clothes, tights, and sneakers. She always let me dress myself and never tried to stop me. There were one or two times in my teen years where she drew the line and said 'no,' and looking back on it, it was for the best and I am grateful for it. My mother and father have beautiful, classic, timeless taste. As I got older, I learned to adhere to a lot of those classic rules: white shoes belong on brides and babies, your shoes should be darker than your legs, look at yourself before you leave in your outfit and take off one accessory, and it never hurts to look your best. No, they did not invent those rules, but they are great rules to live by.

Gardens
Hello little one. Look how bright, how new you are. Congratulations on making it into this world, only a few hours old, and yet you are so strong. I’m so proud of you already. I can tell you’re a fighter, just like my daughter - your name for her will be 'mum'.

Videos targeted at LGBTQ Community are trending on YouTube
On my previous article, I wrote about Sachin Pariyar. Sachin is just an example. YouTubers have not spared the LGBTQ community either. James Shrestha, a YouTuber and a gamer, abused Nikisha Shrestha for her dance in transgender appearance.

CHAMELEON GIRL
Let's face it, being young isn't an easy experience for anyone! However, there's definitely certain experiences, lifestyles & choices our parents can make for us that can make it even more difficult, but as they say, we are forged in the fire and adversity can give us more depth of character.

Five Years Later
Every day seems like a small step in one direction or another, but to really see how far we've come, we need to look back to where we started. So, Jackson, me, this letter is a look back; a contemplation on this chapter of our life, a meditation on the last five years.
