humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
Citizen's State of the Union Address: . Runner-Up in We Have a Dream Challenge.
"We are all Created Equal" What does this really mean? We all have opinions of what it means to be equal. A lot of those opinions are similar in content for the simple fact that our logic comes into play when faced with a question we don't fully know about, so we elaborate. In other words, we would rather share what we know without doing the proper research to formulate a better opinion, if in fact there is a better one to share for any particular subject.

Mr. Stevens' Haven
I have been wanting to write this letter to you for years. It's kind of crumbling out from an old, yet sacred place in me. Somehow, I know if I keep writing, the way you quietly saved my life (and no doubt countless others) might go noticed; even celebrated.

A Hero or a Menace?
Dear Joyce and Eva, You sly foxes. You sneaky, devious women. You duplicitous tricksters. When I came to Lifted Strong, the organisation you founded to help women with HIV in your hometown, I was looking for a good time. I was looking for an interesting experience, an enjoyable trip, a way to do something useful and perhaps claim back a little bit of my soul that was slowly being sucked out by the corporate world.

Farmer's question, poor man's answer
Once upon a time, there were two farmers. They were both real brothers. The younger brother's name was Sultan and the older brother's name was Ikram. The younger brother was very poor and the older brother was rich. But the elder brother never helped the younger brother but he always told him that poverty is written in your destiny and you will always be poor and you will die poor.

To the Everyday Encouragers
It takes a village to raise a child. And sometimes it takes an army of people to transform an adult. The funny thing is, when I became an adult, I thought I had arrived. I no longer needed help or being told what to do. But that is not true. Our lives need changing, even as a grown adult. And the funny thing is, most of the time I am not even aware of the influence that other people have on me--or the influence that I could have on others. There are so many people around me who shed light in places that are broken.

Dynamic Dominics
Mr. and Mrs. Robert & Waunetta Dominic is the topic of this writing today. I feel so honored to write about this couple because of them, many Natives Americans in Northern Michigan and the State have benefitted from their service. I view them as true warriors for the Native Americans. They fought for and were the defenders of injustice many Native Americans and other impoverished citizen in the area were experiencing. This couple, was a power couple and now I dare to call them a legendary couple.
