humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
American Passport
When I was very young, my mother told me to stick to my passport. She said an American passport was one of the most valuable assets I would ever own. At that young age, my sheltered life would be challenged by news of the Libyan hostage crisis and the Iran Contra affair. Germans brought down the wall in Berlin. Russia was still an enemy memorialized in a Sting song I recorded off the radio. If the Russians love their children too, he sang, we just might avoid a nuclear war. These were the current events of my childhood.

War is Brutal. There is No Such Thing As An Ethical War.
Born in Jamaica in 1896 to Scottish parents, my great-grandfather, Alfred Channer, fought in both world wars, first as a teenager, and then as a middle-aged married father in the Second World War. At the time, Jamaica was still part of the British Empire. Wounded in both, he recalled to my grandmother the horrors he saw and the things he did to survive in the trenches and on the battlefields of Europe.

Homeless Population
The life of living on the streets isn’t easy. The day to day survival of being homeless is a day to day fight for survival. People always come to there own conclusion that the homeless population has a choice to be living the way that they do. But let’s dig more deeper into all that plays a role into why a person becomes homeless in the first place. Mental health is the first biggest issue that comes with being homeless, and believe it or not but if a person struggles to get the right kind of help or has had really bad experience with the system with seeking help there is a chance that they will try to figure it out on there own. Is this the best choice for them no it is not but yet again we have to remember how corrupt the system can be when it comes to dealing with mental clients. For myself it took years for one mental health place to get it right as well as to find that mental health through a court order due to drugs being involved and being homeless. But not all of us are as lucky as others. Homeless people are constantly viewed as if they were not even human beings, even law enforcement treats homeless like captive animals. I am a living witness of this same type of treatment that left me to fear law enforcement. Homeless people have limited resource and help, mainly because they lack a physical address, and important documents to identify themselves. And in the case if a homeless dies and no family can be reached or found the bodies will not be properly buried. Homelessness is the toughest way of living the things that homeless people experience, witness, deal with, struggling with, and the time it takes to adapt to having to constantly move around. Being homeless means being titled as a outsider, Poor, misfits, liers, thieves, drunks,Drug addicts, useless, conniving, criminals, fatherless, motherless, cheap, and the list goes on.Second thing is resources, homeless individuals might seem as if they have so many useful resources. In all reality there is plenty of resources for homeless individuals, but also these resources that are available lack key factors in the main cause and reason why we have so many homeless individuals without housing or adequate living. Three after a homeless individual gets assistance with housing it shouldn’t stop there but it does, you see our government acts as if they have no clue of all of the issues that play a roll in a home individuals life. The government is in charge of keeping track of every homeless they possibly can. So in that case giving a homeless a place to live isn’t going to keep a homeless from being home again. Why? Because like I said before homeless inside come with many problems and issues, and if these matters aren’t acknowledged appropriately and throughly observed. We will always have a constant homeless problem in United States. So moral of this story is for all readers to understand that judging a person who has less then what you have, leaves a list of questions of your actual knowing of what, why,how ,and when a home individuals life really started. Also things to remember Done judge a book by its cover before you even attempt to find out there story. Also something to also know there will be homeless inside with stories that seem out of this world. But there are also things in our own lives that we will never even know that existed. Everybody truth will be there own truth. And no one has a right to tell someone else if there truth is a lie or not.

11 Ways to Know You Have Your Soulmate
On February 26th, 2017, I met Shane and we became very close instantly. I can’t explain it very well, when you look at someone you just know that they are the only one. That’s about the size of it. Now I read a lot of romance stories of true love, and love at first sight. I thought this was nothing but fiction. But it wasn’t. Love, at first sight, is real it can happen when you least expect it. When I met Shane he was dating someone, and I was single at the time. It was tough because I was never the type to be a boyfriend stealer. But here I was going down the path that I never thought I would be going down.

THANKS FOR THE RIDE
I WAS TOTALLY DEPRESSED when they walked into my life in the body of a woman about my age.. with M.S. Multiple Sclerosis, her acupuncture specialist for pain, her hubby, and preoccupation with writing a book about the wife of a religious leader made up the purpose for living. "I have this friend I want you to meet. Your agonies seem to be similar to hers. She's in our local group. Be ready Friday evening now that your son is gone off to college and I'll introduce you." I agreed with reservations. I rarely went anyplace lately, unless it was a necessity for grocery, pertaining to a class I was enrolled in or a trip out of town to visit family and friends back home. There had been too much commotion over the recent onset of war and the involvement of troops from the National Guard unit I was enlisted to. I was set aside as nonparticipating due to the late location of military records proofing injury in an accident and residual effects of the injury sustained. I was told for the second time to, "maintain contact." Veteran Affairs was going to contact me regarding follow up on my active file. I agreed to meet the father of my son's classmate on Friday.

Letter to a Lighthouse
There is a kind of magic that exists in our world. It exists within us. Our whole lives we are urged to search for it while the key sits in our pocket. As this world is waking up we are being called to find what we’ve forgotten. You know that popular plot on tv shows and movies where the main character experiences a major event and wakes up to discover they’ve had superpowers all along? Well what if that was a very real thing? There’s a reason that plot sells. It speaks to something deep within our bones; stirring something that desperately longs to be awakened. The only thing in our way is the conditioning instilled in us from the time our beautiful exquisite brains begin to make sense of the world. We are told that it’s not real or impossible. But a new world is emerging. An era built on truth, unity, justice, free thinking, and humanitarianism. Hand in hand we are being called to question everything that we were told was impossible. Because we will soon learn that the impossible is only an illusion. If we can think it we can create it.

antagonist
I became the chosen by the intentions I created. I found god within and so without I create space to ascend beyond my flesh and bones. If you only knew what I would do. To ensure I walk through the locked doors until it is obvious that I have dissolved my limitations. I left knives in my back until an armor formed. I left curses behind and I watched pieces of me die to get here. This opportunity is more than your blood, sweat, and tears. I forget all about the grudges and the wasted energy. As I forgive myself I allow myself to forgive the environments and people who helped create the monster. A child on a war path to cure the mental anguish. To find resolve in a lesson of what it takes to find balance. I know the evil that we all do.
