friendship
C.S Lewis got it right: friendship is born when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought I was the only one!"
Bounded Love
Chapter 1 “You are mine Andrew, never forget that.”His words reverberate throughout my body, his voice is pure ecstasy, and lying in his bed, euphoric. This man spirited me away to a foreign land, and I never gave it a second thought. Prince Alex of Balvakia, yes a real prince, the notion still doesn’t truly register with me, how can it? It’s something out of some BL yaoi manga from my sister’s collection. However lo and behold I am living that now! I can almost see and hear my dear sister foaming at the mouth, rolling side to side and squealing like some kawaii twat. He takes me in his arms and gently nips at my neck, I can already feel my skin flush, sending shivers up and down my spine filling my arms with goosebumps in its wake. “Are you ready my love?” I know he doesn’t mean it as I engulf his lips with my own in a kiss, lost in my own carnal passions. I take a sharp gasp as I feel the cold liquid upon my waiting entrance. We kiss once more then I feel him enter me causing me to cry out his name.

The Boy on the Moon. Top Story - February 2021.
Riley was bored. That was the only reason she even noticed the mysterious paper airplane on her windowsill. Her grandfather had died a few months ago, so Riley and her mother had moved in with her grandmother in the country in a house that was too big even for the three of them. Space wasn’t the issue, though. It was what to do in that space. In her old apartment Riley had had video games, movies, and a thousand other things the internet allowed. Now, without Wi-Fi, all she had was two bereaved women looking at old pictures of her grandfather, mostly from his childhood, and talking about money problems. Riley supposed everyone had their own way of dealing with loss.

The Suprise
In a small depressed area of W-burgh, Brooklyn a group of friends Jamal, Jose, and Joey were constant companions looking for things to keep busy on their summer vacation away from PS 51. As it turned out this day their travels led them to a recently demolished building that was vacant for years.(used to be one of their hangouts inside while it was standing) The guys were a bit depressed as their "clubhouse" was destroyed , but they still had fun digging through the rubble looking for anything exciting or useful to them and their families.

Cancelation Friend
Everyone is flaky these days. Counting on people to be there when you need them is hard. Respecting that people are busy, and having things that uncontrollably come up, plans get canceled. Rather it’s your car is broken down, came down with the flu, or just in a funk and don’t want to go out tonight, cancelation happens. That is not cancellation friend.

Modern Bromance
Ady and I had been up late partying in Nice in the south of France. It was summer; we were 18 and travelling around Europe after leaving school, seeking girls and hedonism. And we were rushing with the freedom of it all. There’d been a few arguments, over money and the urges to see different things, but we stayed solid, ironing out our arguments over cheap bottles of red wine and cigarettes.

Social Phobias, Prozac, and My Friend Hancock
Subbing is the perfect job for me. Heck, I don’t know if it’s part of my nature or if I suffer from an underlying mental health condition. I worked in a position where I didn’t have to get to know anybody therefore I didn’t have to make any friends. Every day, I was somewhere different. I reported to my assigned school. Checked in. Went to my assigned classroom. Prepared the lesson plan. Executed the day’s lessons. Left a report. Went home. Went to a different assignment the next day. It was easier that way.

My Forgotten Little Black Book
There I was, tired and weary after spending over a week cleaning and packing my stuff before moving out to start my new adventure. As I was sorting out what was going to storage and what would go to thrift stores and donation places, I came across my old, forgotten little black book from my adolescence. Wow! I had totally forgotten about that little book. I decided to take a break, sit down and go through my little book, looking at names I had back then but continuing finishing cleaning and getting rid of stuff as I ready myself for my new adventure. It was a treasure trove for me.

A Drug Addict Saved My Life
Relationships are complicated. Everyone knows that they aren’t black and white. The best ones are in full technicolor. My girl calls me “O”. She determined years ago that I give Oprah Winfrey level advice. The highest compliment for an advice giver there is. If I’m Oprah that makes her Gayle. Gayle and I have been friends since our freshman year in highschool. I didn’t know we were besties until she introduced me as such to someone a long time ago. I agreed with her and we’ve been rocking ever since.
