friendship
C.S Lewis got it right: friendship is born when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought I was the only one!"
When we grow older, We grow apart
I knew my best friend since we were in pre-K. We had our whole life planned out already. But once we hit high school... well once they always hit high school, they always act different. We change as we get older. We know more, we see more, we are expected to do and learn more. But at the end of the day we are all still kids, we still have so much to learn, we have a whole life ahead of us that we need to experience. And I am not blaming her but Im blaming her because of what she put me through. This is my story...

A Lifetime of Buddy
“Come on Buddy, let's get some breakfast,” Teddy called out as he woke. These were usually the first words that left his lips in the morning. As Teddy moved from laying to sitting with a laboured grunt, he looked toward the window of the room. The blinds were open only a sliver, and this allowed thin beams of pink morning light to cast in on a diagonal, ending at the floor.

Whiskey Wisdom and Dreams
Austin had announced last call about ten minutes ago, and he kept eyeing the group of frat boys sitting in the back corner. They came in from time to time for a few beers, and usually kept to themselves; however, on occasion, they were known for causing some trouble.

A Friend Like You
Stephanie’s eyes grew tired as she gazed out the window of the train, watching the trees pass by. She was sat nestled close to her mothers side on the uncomfortable hard seat. Though her eyes were weary from the long trip, Stephanies excitement grew bolder. Stephanie hadn’t seen her best friend Amanda for so long. It seemed as though time had gone so slowly in her absence. The playground at school seemed to be quieter and no one else enjoyed sharing the cheese flavoured crackers her mum put in her lunchbox every school day, as much as Amanda did. A raspy voice echoed from the speakers above her, startling Stephanie awake.

Game Day
The sport which I do like to watch, of course, is hockey. However, no matter how important this game is, the snacks will make or break the experience. The main food which I personally do prefer is an extra ham and pineapple pizza with barbeque sauce. This will follow a huge box of barbeque wings and a huge cookie, five to ten people can share.

The dying art of letter writing....
I’m going to write you a letter, not an email, not a message ... a letter. You know, pen, paper, postal service..Problem is, I don’t have your address ...I’ve never needed it. I’d fire off a text or meet you in the pub... never really needed to know exactly where you resided...oh well maybe I can give it to a mutual acquaintance to hand to you, so you too can know what it is to rip open an envelope and feel crisp writing paper in your hands, and the anticipation of what the missive might say... or perhaps the option of ripping it up or screwing it into a ball without glancing at it. Come to think of it that’s probably what you’ll choose to do. No matter, I’m going to write you a letter anyway.

People in my life
Mikey Soders and Mikey Conway were two of the toughest teenagers that I have ever known. In a time that no longer exists, these two street fighters were a nightmare to those not skilled in the art. They were best friends but constantly fought one another. But when it was just the two of them against any amount of potential attackers, they had each other’s back and would not stop fighting until the opposition had fled. They were infamous for a short time for shaking down, well, anyone. They’d walk up to a corner where a bunch of people were hanging out there and they would tell them all to empty their pockets. Some would run, some would get beat up, some would try to go on the offensive only to learn that these Kensington dudes won’t quit.
