The Guilty Pleasure of Loving A Meme
When it comes to binge worthy shows, there truly are so many. The Office, Letterkenny, The Mandalorian, even The Simpsons (if you want to binge for days on end that is). My guilty pleasure isn't any of these, however. My binge show of choice is none other than JoJo's Bizzare Adventure.

Guilty Pleasures?
Yes, I'm guilty. And so is my son. Weekly, we are glued to History Channel's, "The Curse of Oak Island." We have been enthralled for going on eight seasons. And at times, we have watched re-runs of them. I know that this reality show might not appeal to just everyone, but it certainly does to us and here are some of the reasons why.

Grey's worthy
Grey's anatomy has been a long standing show with 17 seasons following the character Meridith Grey. It begins with her and a few other main characters becoming interns together at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital. I began watching this back when it first came out and have stayed vigiliant in doing so. I call it my guilty pleasure show because whenever I feel anxious or stuck Meridith comes calling like an old friend to help me find refuge in the angst of my depression or anxiety.

Outlander: A Sassenach’s Search for the Standing Stones
I listened for the distinctive buzzing of the stones, but the only sound was the wind as it rushed over the emerald hills. My husband, taking in the scenery, wandered outside the periphery of the stones, casually unconcerned with what I thought might be about to happen. Carefully stepping toward the largest of the stones, I reached my hand toward the rock and waited.

Our Little Secret
Soooooo, let me just start off by saying that 2020 was a very rough year. I lost my job, we lost three people on my husband's side of the family (one due to Coronavirus), my migraines took a turn for the worse and started getting a lot more frequent, I started getting severe anxiety/panic attacks, one daughter left home for military training and in now stationed on the other side of the world, another daughter stopped caring and is failing out of school, etc. And, those are just the main things that were going on.

Love that Flavor
My tv binge watching guilty pleasure is none other than FLAVOR FLAV!!! Flavor of Love. VH1’s version of the Bachelor. Only way more entertaining. I’m in my 30s, so I was watching when it originally came on, but when I RE-watched it…with all this new wisdom! Oh man, it became a hilariously funny romp of ridiculous.

My Guilty Pleasure
Ever since I was a child I have been a huge fan of cartoons, starting with shows like teen titans and avatar the last air-bender. Even in high school, I continued my love of avatar the last air-bender by becoming a loyal fan of the sequel, Legend of Korra. My love of cartoons followed me into adulthood and here I sit, 23 years old and obsessed with the series posted above, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.

Sweet Life with The Suite Life
Sometimes you want to watch something funny and light with no elaborate plot lines of mysterious complexity. Sometimes you feel like watching something silly, imperfect, and cringy. If it makes you smile, why not? If it allows you to switch off for 20 minutes and have a laugh, I feel like it's a great thing to do. I never really liked the term guilty pleasure. That is just yet another phrase that makes people self-conscious about the things they enjoy. If you listen to Spice Girls, don't be afraid of people seeing it on your playlist just because it's a girl group. If Keeping Up with the Kardashians brings you joy, you binge that season. Or maybe you're obsessed with those online quizzes that tell you which kind of pizza you are? If they light up your mood, I say go for it.

Let's go on an Adventure
We all had that cartoon or show that we watched every time it was on. For some it was SpongeBob, others it was Pokémon and some it was Looney Toons. Well for me it was one of the best animated shows of all time. The greatest thing that Disney has ever produced, Phineas and Ferb. The show had it all for a young kid. It had songs and dances, stuff to learn and interest you. It was a goldmine for a young impressionable kid like I was. I would come home and watch it as long as my mother would let me, sometimes for hours on end. I remember crying watching the last episode knowing that it was the end of an amazing 8 years.

A New Generation May Be About To Get Their Hearts Broken By The Ending Of 'Dinosaurs', But That May Not Be A Bad Thing
On the surface, Dinosaurs, running from 1991 to 1994, was a fun comedy series focusing on the Sinclairs, a family of anthropomorphic Dinosaurs finding their place in the new, modern world brought about by dinosaurs becoming civilised. Scratch the surface, however, and the show is packed with social commentary and lessons that still hold up Today, all leading up to the surprisingly bleak finale, remembered as one of the saddest TV finales of all time.
