Game Show Crazy
Game shows, game shows, and more game shows. This is how I spent a lot of time during the quarantine period, when my state was shut down and it was hard to go anywhere for fear of catching COVID-19. Lucky for me, my condo fee includes cable and I had access to the Game Show Network (GSN). If you cut the cord, I’ll include my recommendations for game shows on streaming platforms at the end. Read on and maybe you’ll decide you need to see some of these shows!

Escapism At Its Finest
Oh, what it is to have a streaming service at your fingertips and nothing to watch… Kinda reminds me of my full wardrobe of clothes even though I have nothing to– Never mind, you don’t want to hear about that! You’ve come to find out whether I’m an expert TV critic or just another uncultured swine with fierce confidence and a complete lack of sound judgement.

Let's talk Scandinavian Thrillers
I wanted to talk about Scandinavian shows today. I admit I am biased, as I am half Swedish and I love watching shows where I might get a chance to listen to spoken Swedish as I don’t actually have much of a chance to listen to it (living in Toronto and all). However, the shows I will be discussing today are not all Swedish, only one is, and that one it’s actually a collaboration between Sweden and Denmark.

If You like The Office, then check out these shows ASAP as possible
Are you still rewatching The Office? It's okay, no shame in that. I know I still do, even after watching similar or different shows, at some point I end up back with The Office. I figured there would be a lot of people who still watch The Office, or used to, until Netflix took it down. In this article, I'd like to give some shows that you're sure to love if you love The Office. Without further ado, let's go with the first one.

You love television
I can honestly say I love TV. So I used to make determination on my type of day, date, buddies day, and or all three. For example, if it’s a buddy night which is 4 friends binge watching television. I would pick a series so it’s continuous. So my buddies fun night would never in. If it’s a date, than it would be a romantic comedy to lighten the mood. If it’s Halloween month, I would be ready to watch a horror movie or TV series.

If you loved Schitt's Creek, here's your next watch list
If you're like me, currently mourning the loss of our beloved Rose family and their endless parade of glorious mishaps, these movies and television shows might be just what you didn't know you were looking for. My formula for what to watch next is simple - just like no one comes to the party for the same reason (some for the music, some for that one guy/girl, some for the food), everyone has something different that keeps them coming back to their favorite show or movie. Just think about which specific elements you loved the most - was it the acting, the dialogue, the scenery or the general themes? This time I've done all the work for you and divvied up some recommendations for fans of the sleeper hit Schitt's Creek, so just sit back, grab a bottle of your favorite wine and assorted cheeses, and prepare for some seriously side-splitting entertainment.

If I feel like this, then I have to watch this.
If I feel like this, then I have to watch this. Ok, ok.. so, there are times in life that we feel a little bit of everything and sometimes a little bit of anything; that is when I realized I have to watch something new; because sometimes we are so full of our inner drama that we really need to immerse ourselves in a good story, but a good one -not a commercial one-, a story that really makes us believe that love exists, (everywhere basically), or can make us laugh so hard that our stomach feels funny, and what about sadness?, Ok, no sadness no. But, what about documentaries that connect us with the storyline and make us participate with the facts. An intriguing story? A thriller that makes us finish the entire pizza that we ordered on Saturday night. Or, to live your own drama with the overdramatic characters of a soap opera, we all need those stories because, in the end, we live with them, or they live with us.
