'Four Weddings and a Funeral': S01.E05. "Love, Chalet"
The latest episode of Four Weddings and a Funeral lands on Hulu today, Wed., 7 August 2019. With the closing scene of "The Winner Takes It All" brings back memories of how the 1994 Mike Newell directed feature film of the same title ended, it left us wondering if Duffy (John Reynolds) asking Maya (Nathalie Emmanuel) were going to find love.

Does 'Gotham' Prove That 'Batman' Can Work as a Live-Action Show?
Many people have compared the actors who have played Batman in live-action films. And just recently, fans have been debating whether or not Robert Pattinson is a good choice for Matt Reeves' The Batman. 'I Am Mother' - A Movie Review
It’s not every day you get to act alongside a robot. It’s only a matter of time before they take over the world. I Am Mother is a Netflix sci-fi film about a cyborg raising a human daughter. Finding herself at war, will she listen to this stranger about life in the outside world, or to her cyborg mother, the one who raised her?

Score Review - 'Avengers: Endgame'
Alan Silvestri's sweeping, unflinchingly epic score to the mega-hit Marvel's Avengers: Endgame, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, brings to mind the mythic legends of old. As the era of superhero films reaches its next highest point, it becomes clear these stories may be looked at in the same lineage as Hercules, Jason and the Argonauts, Orpheus, and Eurydice, and the other tales of old. With hindsight, a world in which Tony Stark, T'Challa, this iteration of Thor, and the rest of Marvel's gallery is viewed as a new branch of mythology isn't far off. The score for the film seems to recognize and play into this with its use of seemingly timeless chord progressions, proud new melodies, and almost spiritual implications.
