Game of Thrones: A Retrospective (Part I)
(SPOILERS FOR ALL 8 SEASONS OF GAME OF THRONES) The day was April 17th, 2011. At approximately 9 PM on HBO, people were greeted with a brand new TV show. It opened on three men on horseback riding past an open gate into a dark tunnel, only to emerge into a wintery wasteland. They encountered mysterious creatures, which proved to be their demise, and only one of the men survived. He fled from the scene, terrified, but eventually suffered the same fate as his comrades as he was executed for deserting his post. The man who sentenced him to death was also his executioner, and he told his son, "The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword", after the deed was done.

My Review of "Holmes & Watson"
Holmes & Watson is probably exactly what I'd expect from Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly teaming up to tell a Sherlock Holmes story. It is totally absurd and bonkers but whenever the two team up for a comedy they tend to be this way. If you liked their other team up comedies then you might enjoy this one as well. I would say it's one of their weaker movies but there is still some enjoyment here.

My Review of "The Lego Movie: The Second Part"
The Lego Movie: The Second Part is a sequel that I thought studios made just to cash in on the popularity of the first movie. Of course it is but I thought the original Lego movie was going to be a big advertisement as well. As much as the original movie was a big advertisement for Lego it was a surprisingly fun movie.

My Review of "Happy Death Day 2 U"
Happy Death Day 2 U is the sequel to a semi mediocre horror movie Happy Death Day. I did not expect them to bring this franchise back for a sequel let alone build on the original movie. The first movie wasn't that bad. I had a good time watching it and I still remember most of what had happened. There was a lot of throwbacks to the original movie. If you liked the first movie you should definitely watch this one.

The Joker gives us Much to Think about but not Much to See
Warner Bros Pictures. Poster The Joker draws strong comparison to a number of films. Taxi Driver is foremost for me and The King of Comedy to a lesser extent. In Scorsese’s 1976 breakout, Travis Bickle is subsisting on the fringes, and the growing realization of his disenfranchisement tosses the young man over the edge. In keeping, The Joker finds himself looking over the same cliff and definitely adds some juice to his tragedy. Not keeping the rage to himself, Joaquin Phoenix starts a movement, and legions of his ilk are ready to take on the vulgarity and insensitivity of American life. It sounds like a winner. Not quite, so let me begin.

A Review of Color out of Space
It took me by surprise to hear that there has been a remake and modern adaption of HP Lovecraft's story, Color out of Space. It's not the first time and not the last try to adapt HP Lovecraft's stories. But none that have worked to at least have at least a neutral review. Most of the movies that are adapted go right for Cthulhu (and unfortunately that's a huge chunk of failed attempts).

'Scoob!' Review—Unbearably Awful
You and I should be grateful for films such as this—how else would we understand the definition of "torture"? Tony Cervone directs Scoob!, an animated adventure comedy about the Scooby-Doo gang as they embark on a new adventure with a superhero named Blue Falcon, as they try to stop a villain named Dick Dastardly. Before I review this film, I want to clarify that my knowledge of Scooby-Doo is minimal, as I have not seen it before this movie. Having said that, I can still say—
